The doctor. Deming is the most famous statistic for having managed to direct the Japanese industry to occupy the first place as the world. In 1950 he traveled to Japan, in order to carry out a population census and was invited to give conferences to the main industrial leaders about statistical quality control. Deming states: ‘94% of quality problems are responsibility for senior management’ and points out that it is a duty to help people work with more cunning and not to work more ‘(Cortijo, 1998)

In the seventies, William Edwards Deming raised fourteen quality principles, becoming the main reference of the total quality movement worldTQM) and continuous improvement by means. Shewhart before fifty.

The Deming or PDCA cycle cycle represents a primary tool to achieve quality and development in organizations through the following stages:

1. Plan: involvement of plans on improvement through Pareto diagrams, cause and effect diagram, histograms, control letters, graphics and checklist.

two. MAKE: PLAN APPLICATION.

3. Review: Verification of the desired improvement.

4. Act: process standardization .
