True History of the Bermuda Triangle

The origin of the Bermuda Triangle

The first document in which the Bermuda triangle is discussed was an article written by journalist Edward Van Winkle Jones for Associated Press, in 1950. In the same he nicknamed with the appellation of "Triangle of the Devil" to the place and attributed the disappearances to mysterious reasons. His point of view was ratified two years later by George X. Sand, who wrote for Fate magazine. Subsequently, the writer Vincent Gaddis would coined the term "Bermuda Triangle" in a sensationalist article for Argosy magazine, written in 1964.

This name was popular in 1974 thanks to the science fiction writer Charles Berlitz, who achieved sales success by writing about the Bermuda triangle. Many believed that what was written by Berlitz was true and a myth was created around what he said.
