According to the statistics posted at the U.S Census Bureau, the total population of USA, as at the year 2010 was approximately 308,745,538 in figures. However, there has been a slight increase in the figure over the years. According to the Bureau, there has been a steady increase in the population as of 2017 with the figures being estimated to be 325,719, 178. This being the most recent estimated population in the United States of America. Similarly, it was also estimated that the population of the whites alone without including other races was 60.7% of the total population as at the year 2017. Hispanic or Latino was estimated to be about 18.1% of the entire population in the U.S.A. On the other hand, the percentage estimate of the African American population in the U.S.A was found to be 13.4% of the total population.
According to the census carried out on 1 April year 2010, the population of Texas was approximately 45, 099. However, seven years down the line there was a slight increase in the population. The result of the most recent survey carried on 1 July 2017 in Texas was approximately 48,558. Out of this estimate, only 41.7% of the population was found to be only White people. In addition, Hispanic or Latino was estimated to be 28.9% of the total population while the African American population was estimated to be 26.6% of the entire population.
Due to population diversity in Texas, it is clear that racial diversity plays a big impact on its public policy as well as politics.

The population percentage of the whites is higher than the other races giving them a better advantage of the votes turns out. Similarly, the whites and Hispanic share a common history as well as conservatism as opposed to the rest of the population thus making them the major determinants of the politics as well as the public policies.
Due to the increase in Hispanic population in Texas, more interaction in terms of business, as well as the livelihood in Texas, is bound to change. It is, therefore, crucial for one to understand other languages to improve communications in the workplaces as well as the neighborhood. In addition to this, a person is more advantageous to work in any environment since he or she is bilingual as opposed to only learning only one language. On the other hand, English is the most spoken language throughout the world. It is a unifying factor in all the countries thus crucial as a part of communication. The English language has been known to make a bridge between people from other countries who desire to communicate with one another. However, a person with the ability to speak other language benefits a lot as opposed to the one who has the knowledge of English only. Not only does learning many languages improves the brain function it also helps in strengthening a person’s capacity to understand, identify as well as solve problems making it more suitable for my kids as well as myself.
