INTRODUCTION

The health of the students of the State University of Milagro and its lifestyles has encouraged us an interest in knowing the university life that they carry within the classrooms and their homes, since this depends an optimal university performance of eachone of them. To enter the subject, we must know the concept of lifestyle defined by the World Health Organization, which Kickbush expresses as “general way of life based on the interaction between living conditions in a broad sense and individual patterns of behavior determinedby sociocultural factors and personal characteristics ".

Youth is being identified as the greatest risk of its lifestyles, taking into account that the university is an area of change that is influenced by variations in habits, the result of changes in hours of schedules, less free time and the fulfillment they demandAcademic tasks and go to classes, are aspects that trigger few healthy habits in university students.

That is why the decisions that students make about their lifestyles will influence. If decisions are taken irrational, they will be increasing the possibility of getting sick and can even lead to death. But if they raise awareness and make good decisions in a rational way they will be preserving good habits and promoting their health to have a benevolent quality of life, since it is one of the primary factors of the World Health Organization that hopes to have a reduction of premature deaths byNon -communicable diseases for the year 2030.

And in Colombia-Cali, 50% of the postgraduate students of health scienceweek (53%), two cups of coffee a day (55.2%) and cigar consumption (51.9%).

In the case of Peru in the population between 14 and 29, it had been generated in years, negative aspects that bring imbalance in the determinants of health and quality of life in the young man, which are physical inactivity, decomposition of the decomposition of thefamily nucleus and social groups, changes in mood, deterioration of the environment among others. On the other hand in Latin America, it is reported that socioeconomic levels influence the individual’s lifestyles.

And finally in Ecuador they greatly influence what are the bad eating habits that university students carry, since their diet is based only on foods rich in fats, carbohydrates and sugars, together with sedentary lifestyle, stress and individual isolation that is created by the demandsof university classes and tasks, unleashed noncommunicable diseases such as: obesity, hypertension, diabetes among others. That is why all these points must be taken as relevance and improve them with talks, campaigns or educational activities with the aim of raising awareness and promoting healthy lifestyles, which according to the World Health Organization are main mortality factors worldwide.

They have been evidenced in information searches carried out that aspects that affect health in students are: stress, sedentary lifestyle, insomnia, unbalanced diet and toxic substances intake.
