Chapter 9
The most important and interesting idea in this chapter is that it argues that the Congress is the most critical institution in America because it contains members who can represent national and statewide interests (Ginsberg,Weir, and Lowi 288). The importance of the Congress is significant because it shows the need for American citizens to stay informed when electing people to represent them in the Congress since decisions made in the House directly and significantly influences their lives.
Chapter 10
The most important concept of this chapter is that it shows that many powers exercised by the President result from resolutions and congressional statutes instead of the constitution (Ginsberg,Weir, and Lowi 322). This information is crucial because it shows the importance of citizens to assess the relationship between the presidency and Congress since it determines the nature of policies created and their effects on the daily lives of Americans.
Chapter 11
The chapter shows that many forces control bureaucracy including the power of the Congress, and the ability of the Senate and House committees and Subcommittees to control funding to agencies (Ginsberg,Weir, and Lowi 348). The aspect is crucial because it shows the need to be critical in choosing the members of the Senate and Congress since they determine the type and importance of programmes implemented by the government.
Chapter 12
The most interesting aspect of this chapter is that there is no specific number of judges that can sit on the Supreme Court according to the constitution (Ginsberg,Weir, and Lowi 374).

The information shows that there is a need to review the constitution since some groups can take advantage of the lack of clarity to serve personal interests.
Chapter 13
The chapter is interesting because it explains how education, housing, and health can be used to break the cycle of poverty (Ginsberg,Weir, and Lowi 415). Therefore, it shows the need for the government to formulate more strategies to address education, make quality healthcare available to everyone, and improving housing to eliminate poverty in the country.
