This project addresses the situation of women in the labor aspect from its inception to this day, knowing the history of how they were included in the professional part, for many years they were discriminated by stereotypes and prejudices based on rolesgender, where women are seen as a lower being with respect to men, so it was not allowed to study, much less perform in the labor, professional field, construction areas or heavy machinery, where their only duty was to comply withThe homework, attend to her husband and take care of her children, which completely violated her rights as a person, since she was limited to the aforementioned.

On the other hand, it shows the most important characteristics of the main problems that affect and have affected women during the years, and the main organizations and contributions (norms and laws) that have made the same for them are mentionedassert women with equality in today’s society.

With the passage of time, feminist movements have been responsible for fighting sexist ideologies that fostered society discrimination against women, in addition, these manifestations seek to enforce both labor and human women’s rights, having positive results andthat women have included more in the workplace of our societies, where they obtained access to studying a career that makes them professionals capable of working in large companies and that all their work and effort is of great recognition.

However, there are still great struggles to win since with the entry of women in the labor market, other aspects came against the most common women where among women when working they earned less money than men still making thesame work, the preference for hiring a man instead of a woman. Looking like this in this research project to be able to see both positive and negative parties that women have had in the labor part that is often unknown by citizens.

History

History in World War

In ancient times, women dedicated themselves to the home, to take care of their children, to serve her husband and nothing else, at that time women did not dedicate themselves to work, that was only the responsibility of the man, it was he who left her homeTo work to be able to give their family sustenance and when he returned home his wife was waiting for him to serve both him and his children.

Despite the disagreement that occurred, there was no other option, since it was something necessary at that time, it was the only way they found to advance with the development of both industries and peoples;Due to the fact that men had been practically obliged to abandon their jobs to be mobilized to the army, it is in this way that women during difficult times such as war periods, guarantees the survival of their family and alsoHis community going from being a simple housewife to be a workers.

For a long time the woman was hidden, ignored and silenced despite the important role she has played since her existence, the woman had neither voice nor vote, she had not been given any power, because at that time it was considered that man wasmore intelligent and that had more strength than both physical and mental women and then it was he who had authority, that is why he was denied for a long term to women the opportunity to participate in public and political life, as well as inMany jobs in which they were able to develop as well as man has done it since its inception, but due to lack of opportunity they had not demonstrated it, nor could they develop in the field of work at that time.

History of women in Central America

Central American countries have certain historical similarities in terms of the challenges that women have had to face when performing in the workplace, in most cases they are in an unfavorable position, compared to men, this thanks this thanksto the great gaps regarding the characteristics of the works and their remuneration, established by stereotyped and even macho concepts.

In general, gender roles limited women strictly to their only work was to attend home and their family and as a consequence the unemployment rate was basically composed of women. In addition, previously the birth rate was much higher, so it was more restricted to caring for their children. Another aspect to take into account has to do with women who lived in rural areas, since, they were not allowed to study for stereotypes, beliefs or for the bad economic situation, even putting them at more disadvantage.

The first works in which they joined were in the manufacture of textiles and in cultivation fields. Subsequently, they were incorporated into schools and schools reaching a high educational level in which they could be performed in the educational field as teachers, in the health sector as nurses and in the commercial and offices as sellers or secretaries, but they were not entitledto choose or have a wide variety of positions where they could work since they were still jobs with stereotypes.

In this problem, machismo has taken a great place in promoting inequalities against female sex, in addition, according to Jiménez and Fernández (S.F.) “Labor structures in Central America are based on a work model defined by the experience and interests of men."  . Based on the above, it can be understood that if women want to arise in the workplace, they must “adapt” a male work model, which means that only men are able to exercise such activity, therefore, therefore,Being the lower and weak sex, their work was completely devalued, they constantly faced comparisons, harassment and demands violating in their entirety the rights of equality. Despite all this they had to be submissive to these acts to avoid sanctions and conserve their work.

It should be noted that discrimination will depend on the political, social and cultural context of the different regions, since both the economy and society have been facing frequent changes in industry, technology, goods and services, which have motivated thispart of the population to choose to be a source of income at home or to meet their own needs, stop being a dependent woman and emerge professionally. Since, within a patriarchal organ, men are the only ones capable of having the power to direct when they are considered the dominant sex, but over time these stereotypes have changed and there are currently many women who are heads of householdand great professionals.

The vast majority of countries that make up Central America have created programs and strategies to eliminate gender roles and stereotypes, offering a diverse variety of occupations for both sexes trying to comply with the respective rights offering them a better quality of life and work environment.

However, the gaps still exist, on the part of men who have not wantedlimits certain jobs.
