The Florida hospital is among the commonly known no-profit making health facility that aims at improving and upholding living stands of people in the U.S. Throughout the state the facility has more than 22 campuses committed to serving anyone who seeks their care. Analyses are made how the facility failed in applying system approach to bring positive desired changes in the facility by creating additional problems. It points at a particular scenario where the facility failed to apply system thinking in its shift in security programs leading to great failure. The text proceeds to explain how the change could have been implemented and measures that were necessary to attain the desired security outcomes. The southern Florida hospital stands to be an organization that I can claim to be familiar with across the State. The facility is one of the biggest service providers in health in the U.S. It has more than 500 beds for inpatients, over 4,000 employees, and 100,000 ER tours every year. The hospital is widely known for its unique ability to diagnose as well as treat issues that seem to overpower other health providers.

Wait! yesterdays thinking and organizational disability paper is just an example!

Although the organization appears to be quite successful, I have observed several instances where it failed to utilize the system approach method of thinking. A perfect example is seen recently in the implementation of the security plan than eradicated all and allowing only three entrances into the facility. This was done to control access to the facility to enhance security in the facility. Due to lack of proper system application, the plan resulted in delays due to traffic created by using only three doors. Long waiting queues made employees late in their duties while customers were greatly dissatisfied.
Application of the system approach helps to examine how a particular system affects each other. In other words, it goes behold examining various parts of a system to looking at how each component affects the other. The system gives the organization means of fixing the problem alongside probable outcomes that could arise from the process (Senge, et al., 2012). In this regard, systems approach helps one to foresee issues that are likely to occur. As a result, the leadership could be able to prepare or eliminate potential problems that come with the change. For instance, sellers could have been assigned to their entrance to expedite goods delivery and reduce the security workload. Moreover, the workforce could be added to cater for the improved workload.
Lack of proper analysis on how particular systems are interconnected can reduce the effectiveness of some systems or make them succeed for a short time (Kettunen, 2009). For this reason, there is a need for organizational leaders to know how well a system approach can be applied especially when dealing with change.
