Academic Dishonesty should not be encouragedEducation presents different challenges to students. Due to the pressures and demands of both teachers and parents, the issue of academic dishonesty has been reported in various institutions. Relatively, both students and teachers differ on their view for the importance of academic dishonesty. Erosion of Mutual Trust between Students and FacultyThe core of education is that students become aware of the knowledgeability of the faculty to deal with different issues concerning their education. By combining truthfulness between the student and the tutors, weaknesses are discovered, and tutors endeavor to promote the best values to the students, however, should that spiral network of trust break down, it becomes impossible to each party to develop not only academically, but also individually (McCabe et al. 298). The End does not justify the MeansTo the cheater, they believe that as long as they have attained good grades, all will be fine. However, in a harsh employment market, the presence of certification papers without the right knowledge will often get people fired. The workplace is not about showing off theoretically; however, the emphasis is on the actions, the better one performs, the more suited they are to work at a particular company. The cheater’s future is therefore short-lived (Cronan et al. 198).
