My name is Alexander Walsh, and I am an 18-year-old student from southern California. I look forward to transferring from Santa Barbara Community College to University of Colorado Boulder (CU). I prefer a learning environment that is attributed to inclusive excellence and diversity since it is what fits my academic and professional goals. Inclusive excellence and diversity in this institution have been viewed as a foundation of a vibrant community of learning. They are normally the pillars of the general success and key strengths of the institution. Diversity has been part of me since I was born considering that the fact that my parents are from diverse backgrounds. My father is from New York while my mother is from Madrid Spain. I will be happy to join an institution where no one is marginalized as a result of his/her differences. I am looking for an institution that defines itself by diversity as well as a strong commitment to making inclusive excellence hence that makes CU my favorite institution. It is known to be a strong academically with excellent diversity in courses and subjects, packed sports games, school spirit and lots of fun. I am also an outgoing and sociable person hence such features makes the institution my favorites as far as my future academic and professional goals are concerned.
Diversity is the different ways that we are unique. Consequently, inclusive excellence involves acknowledging that an institution’s success relies on how well the institution engages and values the rich diversity of staff, students, and administrators.

It is one of the several factors that have influenced my decision to transfer to your institution. It is the perfect fit for me since I would be happy to be in a university that surrounded by young intellectuals with great diversities in various disciplines. It is because of the idea that inclusion improves the institution’s ability to realize better results by involving individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Inclusive excellence and diversity are beneficial since it gives an environment that is very rich in knowledge as well as ideas. Such an environment is normally very rich because of the diverse skills that are brought together and integrated into the system resulting in an overall greater success for all the stakeholders. Inclusion normally puts the concept of diversity into action by providing an atmosphere of involvement, connection, and respect. Institutions normally need both inclusions as well as diversity to realize success to its stakeholders. I strongly believe that the University of Colorado Boulder is the institution that will create an environment where different backgrounds, different perspectives, and richness of ideas are harmonized to create value. Despite several institutions strive to realize the full potential of inclusive and diverse stakeholders, University of Colorado Boulder has been recognized as one of the universities that embrace inclusive excellence and diversity. The institution values vantage points of diverse people hence it is increasingly applauded for such achievements. It is only in such environments where various talents can thrive. For instance, I enjoy snowboarding, and I believe CU is the institutions that will allow me improve my academic excellence but also will allow my snowboarding talent and surfing to thrive beyond limits.
The path of CU for growing as an inclusive institution is evident considering the existing culture where the uniqueness of talents, backgrounds, beliefs and capabilities are all welcomed for the realization of better standards. For instance, I am tall; I have blue eyes and brown hair. I also enjoy dual citizenship and speak fluent Spanish. I have spent time relating to different people from different social, racial, academic as well as economic backgrounds. This diversity has played a great role in shaping the kind person I become, and I also look forward to meeting different individuals from diverse backgrounds in the event I get the opportunity to join University of Colorado Boulder
I am a hardworking, determined, honest and a loyal character. After graduating from high school, I enrolled in Santa Barbara Community College. I am optimistic that the decision I have made after two years in college is well informed and will make my dreams come true. I am an outgoing person, and I would like to interact with different people from diverse backgrounds to share our and learn from our differences. I also want to live in the mountains hence the University of Colorado Boulder is the best place to be. CU has built a good reputation because of an excellent diversity hence is one of the rare universities that will allow me to exploit the diversity and inclusive excellence to achieve my future academic and as well as professional goals. I am optimistic that I will get the opportunity to be admitted to the university because I believe it will better shape my academic and professional goals. It is also the place that I will feel some sense of belonging.
