Adolescence, physical and emotional changes in my personal experience

Since the beginning of humanity, children have grown up to become adults. This transition from childhood to adulthood is called adolescence. It is a period in biological, psychological, sexual and social development immediately after childhood and that begins with puberty. Puberty being the first phase of adolescence, it takes the process of physical changes in which the child’s body becomes a teenager, capable of sexual reproduction. Adolescence covers much of the puberty period, and refers more to the psychological and social transition stage between childhood and adult life. The duration range is generally framed with its start between 10 and 12 years, and its completion at 19 or 20 years.

All people grow and change throughout their lives, but during the first years of adolescence, the speed of these changes is particularly evident. During the first years of adolescence, the relationship between the true age of a child and the indices of their development are attented. The exact way in which the youngsters develop in these years is influenced by several factors: for example, genetics, families, friends, neighborhoods, values and other social forces.

Physical changes

Upon entering puberty, adolescents go through great physical changes, and not only in relation to their stature and figure, but also in other forms, such as the development of pubic hair and armpits, as well as the smell that exudetheir bodies.

Wait! Adolescence, Physical And Emotional Changes In My Personal Experience paper is just an example!

In girls, changes include breast development and the beginning of menstruation; In men, changes include the development of testicles.

Not all teenagers begin puberty at the same age. In girls, these changes can arrive between 8 and 13 years of age;In children, puberty begins later.

Emotional and social changes

Teenagers at this age could:

  • Worry more about your physical image, the way they see and clothes.
  • Focus on themselves;go for periods of high expectations and lack of trust.
  • Have more humor changes.
  • Interest and let themselves influence the boys of their age.
  • Demonstrate less affection for parents; They may sometimes be rude or bad.
  • Feel stressed due to more demanding school work.
  • Present food problems.
  • Feel a lot of sadness or depression, which can affect their school performance and make alcohol and drugs, have unprotected sex and in front of other problems.

During this period it usually happens that they are too focused on themselves: they believe they are the only person in the world who feels like him, or that only things happen to him, or that it is so special that no one can understand it (and lesshis family). This focusing on itself can lead to moments of loneliness and isolation, or the way of relating to family members.

Personal ideas based on my experience

In my adolescence stage, I personally there were psychological changes, as well as physical and emotional. In the emotional aspect if I noticed a great change, since before I thought very different, I thought that everything was very easy and that I was always right in everything, I did not reason things well, but now that I grew up, I have improved and I have changed myway of thinking, I changed the way of seeing things, I began to be more responsible, as well as there were mood swings, sometimes I became bipolar or simply put me in a bad mood and began to answer my mother or my brother badly. And in the physical aspect there were many changes, I began to develop.
