iv. Marines: – Their main duty is to capture and control beachheads. They provide power projection from the sea and deliver combined-arms task forces to the Navy.
v. Coast Guard: – Their missions are maritime law enforcement, mariner assistance, search and rescue, and national defense. They also have the state responsibilities to protect the public, environment, and security interest.

Espionage which is also known as spying might be considered an important because Congress working funds are changed at several places in the federal government every year.

The President enacts foreign policy with the advice of the members of the State Department. To make the foreign policy, the following steps are followed; Agenda setting, Formulation, Adoption, Implementation, and then Evaluation. U.S. ambassadors and other diplomats then carry out the policy, both individually and as members of international organizations.
The federal government safeguard nation’s security through the following:
i. The President and the Defense Department oversee the operation of the nation’s armed forces, for example, the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines.
ii. The Homeland Security Department regulates all national efforts to combat terrorism.
iii. The National Intelligence supervises the service of the nation’s intelligence agencies.
It is essential for the effective and smooth delivery of the duties of the diplomats, and to grant them immunity from unjust and marginalization by the host nation. Diplomats might become mere paws and diplomacy be impossible in the case where one country castigate the diplomats of another state, then the reverse holds.
