Introduction

Plato tried to leave each of his works in writing, unlike other thinkers.

Developing

The myth of the cavern or allegory of Plato consists in the representation of a metaphor where the duality between imagination and reality occurs. The brief is based on a dialogue sustained by Plato and his teacher Socrates, where the history of some people chained in a cave is presented. This captivity goes from birth to adulthood, this growth transition is mired to a state of oppression. 

In this cave, only the chained can look towards a wall, where shadows caused by other people who load figures and these are reflected thanks to a bonfire, they are divided by a wall. Each of these elements reflects the situations that we face, deception, limitations and ignorance in our lives. That metaphor represents a fictitious reality, based only on what they were accustomed to seeing on a day -to -day basis.

Feeling to some extent safe, because it was the only thing they knew. Perhaps, the mere fact of turning their faces gave them a new perspective.

As can be seen from the writing, Plato continues to spin. If they only saw the sun, possibly its light would blind it;If they saw the reality of what the shadows caused, they would be surprised. If they decided to leave, see the flowers and trees, how would this affect their perception of things? Upon entering the cave again, his vision had to be tempering for the change in lighting and perhaps when he told everything seen, everything lived to his companions, they would call him crazy.

Definitely, this philosophy is a deep, which causes the thought of evaluating how we live our lives, highlighting how necessary is to free yourself from beliefs, fears, ignorance and expand the mental space.

The exposition of the concepts and theories that lead to the questions about the origin of knowledge, the representation of things and the nature of reality are the most importance aspects of the work Republic. One of the aspects that passionate Plato, was education since it raises the analysis, freedom and dominance. 

Through this writing, it is demonstrated when the human being lives under beliefs, realities based on what he has at his disposal, in what is known to them, leads to a state of conformity. This state causes that when another individual sees things from a different perspective, it is cataloged as a rebel by longing. It is even possible that these people want to help freely free them, but they resist and even kill them, as they are not released.

Plato’s allegory, reviews three dimensions: (1) anthropological, (2) ontological and (3) moral and political, Arrieta (S.F.).

1. Anthropological dimension, refers to the condition of the human being, and his way of knowing his environment;The prisoners are tied to the images presented and the perception above all their surroundings.
2. Ontological dimension, focuses on the nature of being;where the individual inside the cave presents a lower level and when he decides to leave, he raises it at a higher level.
3. Moral and political, it emphasizes that the individual lives in a sensitive world and must be guided by a political leader (social organization).

conclusion

The current situation revives the analysis of this allegory, given that the captivity that individuals caused by pandemia live. Allows the development of perceptions based on the information to which they are exposed. Crisis has emerged at the individual and social level, where there are individuals who raise alert voices in educating, investigating and analyzing beyond what they present to us. It is necessary to get out of the caves that have us imprisoned, and we go to new experiences and information that help us expand our ideas;freeing us from entrenched beliefs and behaviors. Change and learning brings transformation, each individual must take root to these concepts and fight from within to know the reality of their environment and above all, integrate to it from its nature.
