Change is pertinent in every aspect of an individual’s life because it is the means through which development is achieved. A Special focus on the education sector which has become globalized indicates that the immigration of students to new locations calls for a favorable learning environment prompting schools to execute some changes as discussed herein.
The world has become a global society, and it is no longer defined by the segregation of people by land demarcation; nowadays, borders have become porous and individuals of different cultures interact giving rise to new off springs. Thereby, it is necessary that children learn the essence of cultural diversity and how to appreciate and respect the beliefs and associated attributes of those cultures which one is not part. This integration can be achieved by assigning teachers the role of moral agents. As moral agents, teachers should take time to teach their students about the different culture in the respective classes so that individuals understand the operations of other cultures, and thereby, learn to show respect
(Fullan, 2016). Also, this requires that teachers are the epitome of morality in attributes like friendliness and supportiveness by setting extra time aside, if needed, to ensure that the international students are at per with the local students.
Another aspect that warrants change is the school’s culture (Fullan, 2016). The kind of culture in a school determines the kind of relations and activities that prevail within that school.

In reference to the culturally, linguistically, varied and exceptional (CLDE) factors that make is unbearable for the minority populations, who are mainly international students, a culture that accommodates the needs of these students is essential. It is necessary to determine if these students’ language needs have been met and whether they have easy access to resources
Change in the education sector is a continuous process as students’ needs tend to change depending on the enrolled students. Hence, the school’s culture should be favorable to accommodate the needs of foreign students. Also, teachers are useful agents that foster change and aid in the creation of a favorable learning environment to enable these international students overcome to challenges related to CLDE factors.
