Benefits and challenges of studying a second language

This research captured my interest, since I live it personally in all areas, being in this case English. For this reason I take the job of informing me how learning another language brings benefits and influences our life, it is a primary need is no longer a waste of time as people usually think. To more easily understand the term "benefit" refers to "benefit action", understanding how to "make something produce fruit or performance, or become useful". With this meaning we can understand that there are no disadvantages in learning more than one language. It is important to develop the subject knowing not only the benefits at the social level but also at the cognitive level. When talking about the social level, I mean development in society and cultural (religion, customs, models etc.) That is, learning a second language not only serves to know vocabulary or perhaps grammar, but it helps us to learn about the culture of the country in which the language is used, it is necessary to know about the daily life of people, their customs, their way of thinking, the religion they practice, etc.

We can also see benefits in the relationships that are established with people from other countries and even make new friends and finally another social benefit is to travel and know the world, but for this it is essential to know another language to have a fluid and clear communicationwith the rest. At cognitive level, the brains of people who practice a second language offer various mental benefits.

Wait! Benefits And Challenges Of Studying A Second Language paper is just an example!

As improvements in the functioning of the brain, forcing it to recognize, negotiate meanings and communicate in different language systems, they also create new skills such as memory or attention Example: People who speak two or more languages are less likely to acquire dementia or Alzheimer’s. And also better levels of perception. A study by the University of Pompeu Fabra, indicates that people who have a second language are more observers and focus more on relevant information and edit the irrelevant.

In conclusion for this and more reasons mentioned above it is important to educate, motivate, and stimulate interest to know another language, starting with children since it is currently a priority and is necessary for success in all areas of our life. Today there is no excuse and I give an example of the United States, where there are places that teach English or different languages free, for this reason we could think that the future of the United States in a global society could overcome cultural barriersand current linguistics both and produce a world not only more inclusive but also more productive and better positioned to face the many challenges. At present it is necessary to have this ability since we live in a totally globalized world and where we all connect with everyone. For this reason the one who acquires a second language creates a very important tool, because it provides advantages in our life not only on a personal level, but also in professional and academic fields.
