Children are future adults and are highly valued in our societies. To prepare them adequately for a brighter future, they have to be educated. Education systems expose them to and enhance the better way of thinking (Kiefer & Tyson, 2013). Thus it is vital for the teacher and parents to be selective on the educational materials they purchase and present to their children for study purposes. High quality, well-structured and attractively designed materials should be used.
In this study, a literature book, for elementary level of education would be reviewed, and the significance of using it over the other substitute alternative books will be determined. The book of choice was Charlotte Huck’s Children’s Literature, by Barbara Kiefer and Prof. Cynthia Tyson due to the uniqueness that fits it most for the enhancement of study of the children (Kiefer & Tyson, 2013).
There are primary factors that contributed to this selection.

Firstly, the complexion of the book is undoubtedly attractive to both the pupils and the tutors (Kiefer & Tyson, 2013). It is full of graphical and visually appealing images and drawings which attract are intended to draw the maximum attention of the young students. The understanding rate of the concepts and facts that they are to learn is hastened since young children can easily interpret and internalize images faster as compared to written statements.
On top of that, the authors have used more straightforward English which makes it easier for the students to study with comfort even in the absence of the teachers. The teachers would be advised to embrace this book in the course of their teaching practices since they would do their work more comfortably and efficiently (Kiefer & Tyson, 2013). Furthermore, this scholarly piece of work is quite small in size and less bulky hence it is possible for the kids to carry them around wherever they intend with ample comfort.
