Abstract
The study covers the research on Mayo Clinic Health Care Company which is a non-profit organization in Minnesota, founded in the United States in 1889. As a clinic, Mayo does offer not only medical services but also education services as well. Majorly, the clinic focuses on research, education, and integrated clinical practice. The clinic provides a wide range of products and services to its consumers. These products and services include medical checkups, laboratory services, books and other reading materials, healthy living plans, and medical products such as drugs. While the clinic operates in a perfectly competitive market structure, it also has a legal and governing body which comprises of a Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees then elects the board of directors who assist in overseeing the overall operations in the clinic. There are 21 officers led by a chairperson and a CEO, and the president. Currently, Mayo Clinic is in an effective competitive position as its pricing mechanisms, and the integration of the advanced technology helps create a competitive edge in the market.
