Being a high school student, I have an intense passion and prowess in mathematics and science related subjects. Hacking of private and public sites and accounts is common crime nowadays, and mi desire and plans are to come up with secure systems that will alert or stops any hacking activity. As a senior high school student, I have always tried to visit our computer labs and have a discussion with our computer technician to get more information about computers and get extra time to experiment my knowledge on the computers.
At school, I have joined science club, where we get to nurture the group’s skills in mathematics and other science subjects. In the club, we give each member a chance to show their talent and share on how to improve it. I am among the top students in our class for achieving outstanding performance with an average of an A in my mathematics and science subjects. For my excellent performance, I have been given a leadership position at the club to share my skills and exercise leadership as the secretary of the club. The leadership position has given me a chance to improve my capacity to lead and have confidence in what I believe I can do. The fact that the group member believes I can lead them explains that I have a potential that I need to unleash.

One afternoon I was at home I was talking to my father as he was repairing the ceiling, he is not a carpenter by profession, but since he was free and he wanted to try and fix the ceiling. He found it cumbersome choosing the right measurement for ceiling boards and size of nails to use. With my mathematical brain I gave him estimates of the size of the board and the exact inches of nails that fitted as he expected. He was so happy that he had taken me to school, and I was already using the knowledge to solve domestic problems. He was so proud of me; I have been helping my siblings and cousins in lower classes and those at the same level to polish their mathematics skills. I play football at school, and people have nicknamed me “the pointer” the reason behind the nickname is my skill to use my eye focus and calculate the speed and how the ball should curve to achieve a given exact move that I do without straining. Some student has approached me to train them on the skill, but I can’t since it’s just a natural gift liked to my mathematics and science brain.
In conclusion, my passion for computers and solving global problems is rising each day, and I have dedicated much of my time for it. I have also been troubleshooting computer problems at home and for my friends who have no knowledge concerning computers and this have boosted my self- confidence and esteem in my future career plans. Getting this admission for a career in computer science will enhance the realization of my dreams. I will do my best to continue shining in my academic as I build my computer science career after high schools education.
