Work associated injuries may indeed prove to be very costly to the company’s esteemed employees since it leads to loss of life or cause of permanent injury that leads disability plus also generating a lot of impacts on productivity. The costs mentioned here though monetary based entail the insurance compensation due to the either injury or loss of life Michael et al. Cases such as injuries tend to reduce the morale of workers plus also causing other personal problems or sufferings (Michael et al 58). A country such as the US in the year 2010, the injuries at workplaces resulted in deaths. Where many deaths occur in the workplace, the country loses productive labor thus in the end decline in its economic growth.
Just from the past, the sector of industrial production, for example, the reduction in accident methodology or approach pays attention to the evaluation of lagging data like the sustainable rates of accidents. Within the field of economics, lagging means the already past events. Concerning that kind of data that lags behind, cases such as fatality or injury must take place before an organization takes action towards the handling of the factors that lead exposure towards the hazard (Michael et al 58). In consequence, the evaluation that happens is finally recorded down by the organization. In this regard, when making reports, the company then comes with ways that can lead to the prevention of the accident or injury in future.

Right from the beginning, those methodologies that lead to the improvement in safety within an organization in many occasions tend to focus on the accident inquiries with the goal of determining the exact causes and the desired changes in the coming future. Of late, many organizations have resorted to a new protocol where they have come to the adoption of an approach that leads to prevention of both fatalities and injuries by paying attention to the predictive measures that enhance the monitoring of culture of safety (Michael et al 59). As at present, studies on safety management and prevention of injury gives a suggestion that the behavior of human beings indeed impacts greatly in the injury prevention or fatalities. Also, the recognition given to behavioral factors and the application of the programs on prevention of accident towards the reduction of injuries have formed part of culture, safety culture and human factors of an organization.
A safe climate has the inclusion of predominant attitudes and the behaviors of employees linked with safety status within an organization at a given moment. Also, the climate of safety is indeed not stable since it keeps on changing about the prevalent conditions. On top of these, the climate of safety forms the temporal state of culture of safety (Michael et al 60). A culture of safety may require indirect evaluation from the instruments that apply to human improvement and performance. Meanwhile, a climate that is positive regarding safety is directly proportional to the improvement in the safety practices while a decrement in the rates of accidents, as well as the act of those behaviors, deemed unsafe within the business. For this reason, the well-established organizations need to offer support to such practices that urge for the use of safety appliance as the best ways of effective management. Also, safety climate has remained to be the reference point for most organizations when it comes to an assessment of initiatives towards safety.
