Curriculum goals refer to a set of skills and knowledge that learners are expected to acquire from academic contents or institutional programs. Merely, a curriculum is often regarded as courses provided by a given education institution, and include learning objectives which students must attain at the end of the teachings. The curriculum program has materials such as books, assignments, projects, presentations, lessons or units that need be covered to declare achievements and academic success of learners (Whyte, White & Menscer, 2015). School programs not only do they focus on facilitating academic excel but also aim to foster quality ethical and spiritual values. For this reason, curriculum goals are made concise and understandable, incorporating teachers, learners, administrations, and parents.
Issues Regulating Corresponding Standards in My Content Area
I chose science to be my content area, and one of the current issues controlling the standards in the content area is pressure due to global economic competitiveness. At some point, education decisions are being influenced by business leaders, some who are officials at the government levels, when raising financial concerns. Leaders are actively holding the view that to boost economic performance; education roots must get strengthened where business managers with high creativity will emerge (Whyte, White & Menscer, 2015). For this matter, curriculum become structured into segments that focus on subprograms such as technology and entrepreneurship.

Similarly, the involvement of corporations to influence education policy is taking in the states or at federal levels. Organizations are getting involved in their pursuit of tracing competent and skilled employees needed for a productive workforce. During curriculum planning or standards settings, business offers advice regarding educational policies so that graduating students can secure employment opportunities having attained technical requirements. Another issue monitoring standards in science area are trends in technology within businesses and professional organizations. For instance, major chemical, technology or pharmaceutical firms are investing heavily in science education and thus inducing reforms with a change in new expertise. Corporate officials are working with educators to assist school districts plan and implement science programs for all learners. Accordingly, it is through this collaboration that external forces will regulate standards to meet in this content area.
Contribution of Curricular Goals and Standards in Classroom
Identification of curriculum setting enables learners to have a prior focus on they will learn and what will get tested, hence they will prepare in advance. Content standards define the depth and breadth of a valued knowledge that learners are expected to acquire, thereby reducing curriculum disparities in schools. With that in mind, simplicity in learning become enhanced as students get a clear path of seeking the aimed knowledge by studying the relevant concepts. Teachers in classrooms only teach and evaluates relevant contents hence saving students the burdens of tackling irrelevant information (Friend, 2017). Consequently, learners can excel and emerge literate with skills that will benefit them in future. By matching the lessons taught in the classroom to the standards set in each subject, parents and students get to know what teachers ought to be teaching. Additionally, curriculum goals act as roadmaps to guide teachers what to deliver to achieve the expectations.

Success is known to get attained with all necessary materials available, and it therefore through a curriculum that people work jointly to accomplish objectives. The content that learners require during knowledge seeking is defined within school programs, and when both teachers and student follow correctly, success becomes a guarantee. The program saves time, as only the relevant concept is taught following the right standards in the content areas.
Curriculum in education level is beneficial for the newly recruited teachers. With a trustworthy program, one can be confident in the content than when an inexperienced educator prepared lessons from scratch. Teachers acquire substantial resources through an improved teaching process fostered by a well- structured curriculum, and creativity becomes stimulated allowing a self-reflection (Fisher & Frey, 2016). A person works smart when knowing what he or she is doing. Education programs will enable a reflection on the strength and weaknesses in learning processes. From my thoughts, curriculum guides strategies for success by providing parents, communities, and schools with an unprecedented opportunity to interact and debate what learners should know.
District, Administration and Faculty Considerations About Curriculum Strategies
Educators, government, and institute consider having a holistic curriculum planning where this gets characterized by a district-wide committee and other school groups working jointly. Primarily, the planning committee must coordinate policies and programs of learning institution to ascertain that teachers and students have effective academic interactions. The school-based board plans the curriculum activities in respective schools and function with the district officials who assess the entire learning process in the community as a whole (Fisher & Frey, 2016). Faculties, districts, and administrations must consider certain conditions to implement a holistic program planning efficiently. First, all the professionals must get informed about the curriculum planning process and should get availed of the right resources. Second, during curriculum planning, enough time must get allocated while assessing the benefits expected to emerge from the programs.
Learning Experiences Appropriate for Science Programs.
One example of a learning experience is the field works. Industrial tours or trips are essential especially in the discipline of science as a content area. Learners become exposed to activities as their interest get increased regardless of prior interest in a subject. There is a more affective gain, for instance, positive feelings towards a given topic. Another experience includes teachers’ educational programs which are ventured basing on specialization. Effective teachers require content relating to a particular subject than having general teaching methods because subjects or disciplines have unique approaches and also are organized differently. For example, a set of historical claims have different evidence than one required to prove mathematical ideas or to test a scientific theory. Even though some educators teach in the way that involves multiple disciplines, the ability to do such needs more set of teaching skills which could take time to master.
