Introduction
The death penalty is an ancient practice that is still used in this generation as a judicial sentence for heinous crimes. The Bible presents ancient evidence explaining different crimes requiring a death sentence, and they provide a basis for current laws. Death penalties are only undertaken following a judicial process and in accordance with the law. Various exceptions are made regarding the sentence which includes teenagers and individuals suffering from reasoning incapacity. A big percentage of the USA’s population is in agreement with this practice. Although death penalties are reducing, this paper, therefore, discusses supporting evidence for retaining the mode of punishment.
Death Penalty
I agree with the post since death penalty aids in taming general population from participating in the crime. Public performance of death penalties is a strategic move to curb heinous acts like rape as it brings fear for such crimes. Some crimes like terrorist attacks require death penalties because of inhuman way used to kill innocent individuals. Presence of capital punishment enables a tough approach to crimes hence promoting the reduction of criminal activities. In accordance with ProCon (2016), execution of offenders helps prevent future repetition of the same. Some crimes like murder go against human rights and therefore the death penalty is an appropriate measure as the offenders have undermined their own right.

Conclusion
I believe in the death penalty as an appropriate judicial punishment for criminal activities since it helps eliminate probable repetition of the same. Once minor individuals attain adulthood, they should not be subjected to the death penalty as a result of their previous crime. Proper definitions and laws should be implemented so as to control the sentence hence avoiding wrong executions. The death penalty has human ways of executions thus respecting human rights, and this promotes as an appropriate punishment.
