Anxiety and depression patterns were evidenced, which are seriously affecting learning, since their motivation, level of attention is altered, among others.

The impact of pandemic and its uncertainty has also significantly affected education systems in the world. Overnight, schools and universities have had to go to virtuality, many without sufficient resources to do so, and with students without the ability to connect to the Internet in their homes in the absence of electronic devices and/or/or A Wi -Fi network. Students and teachers have had to be coupled, without that meaning that in such a short time there was already an effective adaptation to this change. (p.fifteen).

Therefore, one of the negative effects that Covid has brought – 19, is not only the attack of the coronavirus, but also the affectation of the mental and emotional health of university students.  We are witnessing how the expansion of a virus and the measures that have been established to contain it are affecting a systematic increase in anxiety, depression and post -traumatic stress disorders, as well as violence, alcohol consumption and self-harm behaviors. 

An increase in health risk factors such as social disconnection, loss of the sense of life, sensations of overwhelming and exhaustion due to change in working conditions, anguish in the face of loss of employment, low income, deterioration of the deterioration, deterioration of the quality of life and problems derived from the difficulty of developing duels after losses by not following cultural rituals. In the same way the media do not contribute to the mental health of the students, it cans even that it collaborates with the severity of student depressions. The daily increase in infections, of the deceased, and the information has made mental health problems worse.

To contribute to the investigations, the development of a literature review that helped to consolidate some recommendations of experts in the area of ​​mental health was raised. Therefore, the main objective of this review is to present evidence on the presence of depression in university students at the time of confinement and give some recommendations based on the reviews that were investigated.
