Grey’s Anatomy
Grey’s Anatomy was one of the best television series in America aired on the ABC channel. The film’ Grey’s has been my favorite since childhood. The film was premiered on television in 2005. I can remember creating a weekly schedule to watch the movie with my friends. It is hard to believe that sometimes we could sacrifice time for homework and studying to watch every episode of the film at its initial stages. In this essay, I demonstrate how the excellent plot and themes made the film one of my favorite series.
Plot
One of the attributes of Grey’s Anatomy series is its exciting plot. Every episode revolves around doctors’ daily encounters, a strategy which is considered influential in character development and the establishment of relationships. The author’s primary focus is the personal and professional lives of five ambitious young surgeons and their superiors. Besides, the work-life of Meredith Grey, a daughter of an esteemed surgeon who resides at Seattle Grace Hospital after her acceptance to a residential program is at the center of the film Meredith Grey got involved with her boss while her best friend and her superior started a relationship, thereby triggering questions about what is about to happen next. My most favorite actor is Ellen Pompeo who plays the role of an intern.
The movie is easy to follow owing to the introduction of each episode with a short narration (Ryan). Moreover, in every season, the physician’s academic year is noted.

As it advances, the viewers can easily tell the level of advancement in the surgical field. Another critical thing to remember is that the author utilizes dramatic events in each season to enhance emotion and suspense among viewers. In particular, characters either die or depart, thereby triggering questions about the potential of continuing with the series in the subsequent episode.
Themes
The author also illuminates on the topics of mortality, relationships, and ethics. The television series illustrates how surgical interns ingeniously balance their private lives with their work at the hospital. In particular, the series illuminates on the appropriateness of different behaviors among physicians in the delivery of their services. Most of the movie’s characters exhibit high spirit, regardless of the level and type of illnesses they treat. When doctors arrive at the hospital, they are assigned cases, and these results in tension between the superiors and residents, thus depicting us how they balance their two lives.
In most cases, when doctors are treating patients, they form connections with their patients, which are relative to the doctors’ lives. The relationship between surgeon and patient may become either friendly or sexual which brings about a conflict in both the doctor’s professional life and personal life (Ryan). The controversies surrounding each relationship makes the series highly fascinating. The film has been significantly influential in my life. For instance, since I started working in a hospital, the television series has been pivotal it teaching me to understand my working environment.
Conclusion
In the whole, Grey’s Anatomy is one of my favorite television shows because of its plot, themes, and exciting episodes. From the onset, the film reflects on a myriad of life controversies that are common in workplaces such as a romantic relationship between bosses and juniors. Furthermore, viewers understand the challenge of balancing personal life with professional life among junior employees. More importantly, the author successfully makes episodes and seasons of Grey’s Anatomy a roller-coaster with sudden changes of moments. At one moment, the characters are happy, but the joy fades when colleagues die. For the viewers, the death of the actors is emotional since it marks the completion of their roles.
