Case 3
Intervention on the Micro Level
On the micro level, I recommend that Margie should maintain her meetings while she learns to be independent yet be more considerate of her mother’s feelings. I believe that when Margie gains independence, she would be able to accept herself more and from others who have the same disabilities. Assertiveness would be a huge help with regards to her mother’s feelings. This is because micro-level occurs in a social setting and pertain an individual behavior in a social setting. That’s why Margie has to learn to be sensitive to her mother’s feelings.

Intervention on the Mezzo Level
Through the story, it is important to know the relationship between Margie and her mother and see if her mother can intervene in her new activities. This will depend on whether or not their association is productive. Since Mezzo level involves working with small groups or people who are not immediate family members, Margie has to find a way to build friendships that can benefit her in future. She has friends in her workplace and she has to nurture them as well.
Intervention on the Macro Level
At this level, I would tell Margie to keep developing her individuality and inspire her to prioritize her happiness by living her life. She would gain more confidence by maintaining her assertiveness even at her workplace and when being with friends. This would allow her to move forward with her life plans (Becker, 2001).

Macro-level deals with systemic issues on a large scale. Margie should continue with her quest for independence which would enable her to be responsible on her own. She has learned to use the phone and she can ride the bus as well.

Intervention on the Micro Level
At this level, I would tell Chris to check for groups that are likely to benefit him, and he should not be afraid of people’s opinions. As a result, he would be empowered, especially if he can work it out for himself. Micro-level focuses on individual action in a social setting; therefore, Chris should embrace parental responsibilities and have self-confidence. This would make it easy for him as he raises his children.
Intervention on the Mezzo Level
I will be able to learn so much about Chris and his relationship with his family to ensure there are no barriers preventing him from getting the support that he really needs. I would encourage him to ask for family assistance whenever possible and assist him to come up with new ideas (Summers, 2015). Mezzo level involves working with smaller groups or neighborhoods. Chris is focused on finding men who are in the same situation or support groups but is afraid they are made up of women mostly.
Intervention on the Macro Level
I would advise Chris to attend parental workshops that would offer help as well join any support groups. This would open Chris to how fellow men cope with work and children. On macro-level, Chris should embrace the challenge of being part of support groups in order to concentrate well in his workplace. Doing a good job would mean promotions that would enable him to pay college fees for his kids.
