The Allegory of the Cave by Plato
Introduction
The book provides a scene of chained prisoners who happen to be in a dark cave. Everything seen is based on shadow reflection as the true image that they believe in. But when one of them is set free and sees the real things and goes back to educate the others but receives strong opposition. Due to the difference in the truth where one is based on perceived truth and the other on the real truth outside the cave.
The people living in the cave relied on the reflection of the images on the wall. This scene reflected was their understanding of their own truth becoming puppets under the control of only what they have seen through shadows. An example is like believing in the social norms that have already been formulated then raised with it from your childhood up to adulthood (Heidegger, 205). The people outside the cave portray those that have stepped out of their normal status to explore and uncover the true real-life situations as the sunshine. And for this to take place is by making a habit of stepping out of their comfort zone to make a difference in themselves or their environment.
The one outside the cave is better off since they live a life with no limitation of possibilities and makes a difference for him or even the world like the inventors and be famous. Unlike the ones in the cave who live a life of missed opportunities because one cannot realize true reality of how things are existing or even been part of the society (Jade, 17).

Wait! Discussion Philosophy paper is just an example!

Escaping the cave is possible and full of worth. Since one it opens one’s mind to know the real truth. Making one has knowledge thereby gain the thinking skills for him and eventually leading to discovering one’s unique ways of solving problems. (Jade, 19)
Plato’s recommendation is true and good. The best ways to solve problems is by sourcing for more knowledge on it then make as many assumptions as possible that are related to the question seeking to solve. As a result, one cannot make bad decisions or errors that can greatly cost much. There are many forms of truth that can be discovered by man but only if they make a step of courage to out of their perceived normal state. Since whatever they will discover will be the truth and greatly be of worth to them.
The truth should be discovered since it brings a difference that everyone will admire to associate with for it will bring a sense of worth. For example, the gaining knowledge and experience they are using it to advance to another level in life. Though challenges will come through contradictions from others one’s courage will enable to sail through.
