Introduction
From ancient times, the human being faces an imbalance in his health for the presence of the various emotional disorders. The impact of different emotions such as the joy, sadness and fear that a person can live in the multiple situations experienced over time can affect their nervous system and body. In this way the unknown arises as to what extent the emotional disorders can cause an impact on the health of a person?
Developing
The desire to enjoy health for the development of a full life has represented one of the most important goals of humanity, the existence of agents external to our body and environment that influence the state of health, agents such as the thoughts and emotions. Being influential negative emotions in health favoring the contraction of certain diseases, since they make more vulnerable to the immune system and weaken their mental functioning (anxiety disorder, major depression, pathological anger, etc.) as physics (cardiovascular, rheumatological, immunological disorders, etc.).
Eventually emotions exert great strength over us and influence our thinking and our behavior, it is a subjective reaction that occurs as a result of physiological or psychological changes that influence thought and behavior.
Emotions are psychophysiological reactions of people in relevant circumstances from an adaptive point of view, such as those that imply danger, threat, damage, loss, success, novelty, etc.
Wait! Emotional Disorders And Their Impact On Health paper is just an example!
These reactions are universal, quite independent of culture, produce changes in affective experience (cognitive-subjective dimension), in physiological activation (physiological-adaptive dimension) and expressive behavior (behavioral-exressive dimension). In addition, from a psychological point of view, emotions such as joy, fear, anxiety or anger are basic emotions that occur in all individuals of the most diverse cultures, they have a considerable biological substrate, they are essentially pleasant or unpleasant , they activate and are part of communication with others and in turn, they can act as powerful reasons for behavior. (Tobal, Emotions and Health, 2001).
Coinciding that emotions have different ways of affecting the behavior and health of a person, this will depend on the person’s ability to react to the situation, in case of being a negative emotion such as sadness, it will be the way to take this Emotion of the person who determines his state of health, because if the person gets carried away by negative thoughts, he would be vulnerable to diseases that affect their health.
The health of man is a complex process based on the base of a balance between biopsychosocial factors. Emotions are psychological processes that, in the face of a threat to our balance, whether physical or psychological, act to reestablish it by playing an adaptive role. However, in some cases, emotions influence disease contraction, ceasing to be adaptive processes. The adaptive function of emotions will depend on the evaluation made by the stimulus person that endangers her balance, and the response she generates to face that stimulus. (Enrique & Palmero, 1999)
There is a relationship in the results that can cause emotional disorders, health damage, both physical and mental. These being universal and in turn independent of the culture that each person carries the result will be the same. However, I disagree that these psychological processes vary depending on the adaptive role that the person has to respond to the situation, because all emotions are positive or negative will have an effect on the health of people very independent of their level of their level of their level of their level adaptation in response to the situation you are living.
High psychological activation may be associated with a certain degree of immunodefression, which makes us more vulnerable to the development of infectious diseases (such as flu, herpes, etc.) or immune type (lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis, etc.). (Patricia, Dayron, & Ramón, 2011). All emotions help maintain a stable state of health, the elevation of this due to some negative sensation affects the immunosuppressive system which returns to the vulnerable body to acquire disease.
Therefore, one of the most influential reasons in the deterioration of health are emotional disorders, which become intense and usual negatively affect the quality of life of people, this being one of the main risk factors to contract physical diseases and mental. (Piqueras Rodríguez, Ramos Linares, & Martínez González, 2009)
It is evident that the disorder leads to affect our state of health. That is why a healthy person must be in mind as a body, that is, there is a relationship. Sad thoughts make our brain spend more glucose and oxygen, which makes a person feel tired and apathies. Sadness can also affect our appetite.
When a person grieves, he tends to eat more sweet foods, because he loses the ability to perceive this type of sugary flavors. When the serotonin of our body goes down, diseases such as depression can be suffered and develop violent attitudes. Although not everything is perfect on a day -to -day basis, there are various ways where emotions can be channeled to achieve well -being with ourselves that will allow us to have good health.
Depressed people get sick more frequently than those who are not, also develop addictive behaviors (alcoholism smoking, etc.) that endanger our health and their social relations, academic and work performance. And positive emotions as well as maintaining a day -to -day basis favor health benefits, since they help support the difficulties of a disease and facilitate their recovery. A happy person has a better performance in their activities.
The relationship between emotion and motivation is close, since it is a practice present in any type of activity that has the two main characteristics of motivated behavior: direction and intensity. Emotion energizes motivated behavior. An emotionally "loaded" behavior is done more vigorously, so that emotion has the adaptive function of facilitating the effective execution of the necessary behavior in each demand.
Negative affectivity is a feature that reflects the tendency to experience negative emotions through time and situations (Watson & Clark, 1988). This trait overlaps with neuroticism people who usually have a biased perception towards negative events that allow them to continue their negative concerns and thoughts (tension, concern, anxiety, anger and sadness).
Fear-acade Ankiness is defined as a response from the organism that is released in a situation of threat or physical or psychic danger, whose purpose is to grant the energy organism to cancel or counteract it through an answer. This mechanism works adaptively and launches this alert mechanism in the face of stimuli or situations that are threatening. There is a relationship between adaptive anxiety and clinical anxiety, both have the same phenomenology: cognitions, neurophysiology and motor defense or attack responses. It is known that a certain amount of anxiety is necessary to perform certain tasks, to solve problems in an effective way. There is also a symmetrical relationship between anxiety level (seen as a level of motivation) and performance (development of a task, problem solving mechanism). Thus, the relationship between anxiety and performance is expressed by an inverted U -shaped curve.
According to the Yerkes-Dodson Law, formulated in 1908, an anxiety deficit involves a low action efficacy, while optimal anxiety due to certain problems promotes the increase, in a desirable increase, execution or efficacy. However, excessive or clinical anxiety acts by interfering with performance in all areas of the human being and becomes a clinic.
conclusion
Concluding that human beings are able to feel, what we define as feelings is, in large part, a product of what we have fun through reason and a natural origin in synapses (extension between thinking and doing), Therefore, we are affected by the disease; which is nothing more than a fact that leads to the rupture of the inner world of a person by interrupting the realization of his personal project. Being emotions that can have a great impact on the physical health of the human being, weakening its immune system by acquiring a disease; In the same way that placebo effect exists through a deception of perception, feelings strongly influence the mentality of individuals, however, this will depend on their reaction ability to the stimulus of a negative reaction in his life.
