Essay on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict

Introduction

As law students we conducted this study on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, which focuses on the understanding of the context, its causes, transcendence, implications and development in the region. The worldwide implications. First, we will see the background of conflict, secondly, we will see current actors and causes, and finally current analysis based on the book. It has its beginnings in the nineteenth century, but it bursts at the end of World War I. Its conflict center has always been the land dispute. The Palestinians demand from Jerusalem as theirs and demand the creation of a Palestinian state.

Two wars have been recorded: that of the six days in 1967 and Yom Kipur’s in 1973 and two intifated, revolts of the stones, popular movement against the Palestinian Israeli forces only has two territories: Bank and the Gaza Strip. At the end of World War II, it includes the Nazi holocaust and the decline of Great Britain as an imperial power, this precipitates the Jewish displacement, which increases the confrontation and massacres.

For many experts, the fault of what happens in the region falls on the western powers that divided the territory after World War I. In 1948 the UN support the Palestine participation plan carried out together with the retirement of Great Britain, which could not contain the situation. The Jewish territory and Arab territory were divided, but, in practice it was not fulfilled, Israel was only born, Palestine rejected the UN plan, here the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is born.

Wait! Essay On The Palestinian-Israeli Conflict paper is just an example!

Consequently, Israel takes possession of more Palestinian territories.

Developing

Donald Trump’s president intervened arguing that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, causing war resurgence. In June 2017, the Palestinians turned 50 years of the longest sustained military occupation in contemporary history. The effects of occupation policies have aggravated the humanitarian problems they face in their daily lives, this takes away all hope of a future to the Palestinians, in turn, Israeli have been affected by constant insecurity.

Give. It would translate to Israel’s sovereign right to protect their legitimate interests in security matters must be balanced with its legal obligation to administer and meet the specific needs of the Palestinian population, positively the territories it occupies.

The expansion of settlements over many years, as well as the journey of the West Bank Wall, in the contravention of International Humanitarian Law, deeply alert the social, demographic and economic landscape by hindering the development of the territory as a viable nation, sinking their perspectivesof reconciliation. Although, each of these policies has different and complex humanitarian consequences, the common feature is the loss of Palestine land.

In the Gaza Strip, where Israel maintains absolute control, strict control of both maritime and terrestrial borders is maintained, which affects development. In Gaza, 90 % of the water is not suitable for consumption, which makes it a luxury. On December 17, 2014, the European Parliament Publicly supported the recognition of the State of Palestine. The parliaments of several member countries such as: United Kingdom, Spain, France, Ireland and Italy

The Palestinians say that Oslo’s Treaty did not bring anything good for the OP, and on the contrary it was an impulse for the Israeli army to take occupation in the Palestinian territories, on September 13, 2018, 25 years of signing the agreements, thePalestinian Groups FPPP, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and FDLP, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine made an order for the annulment of Oslo agreements. Although these agreements did not achieve their general objective was the first scenario these two states agreed.

In this year Donald Trump, together with the prime minister of Israel Benjamín Netanyahu proposed for the solution of the conflict to create Palestine as a state having as a capital to Eastern Jerusalem, and obtain territories occupied by Israel, cataloging this proposal as the last opportunity of thePalestinians what the president of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas, story as a conspiracy totally rejecting the proposal.

Possible solutions to conflict

Taking into account that for decades there has been between the two Palestinian states and Israel in possible solutions under an independent criterion and oblivious to the interests of the conflict.

As the basic problem of the conflict is territorial and its limits left after the war in 1967, we consider that while the parties in conflict, continue to allow the interference of other nations, international identities promoting peace, who act and condition certain political positions to ignore A certain regional interest, in these conditions I think that the possible solutions of the conflict are harmless, because it is the people who really claim to match citizen rights and peace with equality and without meanness.

One of the possible solutions in our concept is to persuade peoples in order to find strategic solutions in new state policies to improve the stronger economic relations, cultures, etc. To the conflict relegating to the background the religious-political practices that have influenced in a beigerent way in the conflict.

Another solution to resolve the conflict between the two states would be to meet with the presidents of both and make negotiations to be at peace, the two states and that innocent people do not suffer from that conflict, since after all theunique that suffer are the inhabitants of these states, reach some agreements so that the two states can coexist peacefully respecting the cultures and beliefs of each.

Another solution that does not seem far -fetched from political logic democratic civilization is to promote and persuade a pedagogy of citizen culture at the governmental level between the two states, enhance a plebiscite so that said state of functions or integrate into a newState with another name, na new political letter, in other words, with a new legal system.

conclusion

We consider that the conflict does not find objective solutions to peace, while some of the states have to give up territory, the essential thing is that political leaderships civilly give to their interests of power and enter to understand that, it can be governed in different power scenariosconcerted to break the corrupt customs of existing power.

The recognition of the European Parliament and the national parliaments is purely symbolic, since the effective recognition must be carried out by each of the governments of the Member States. At present, the only country in the European Union that has recognized it and the member of the Union has been Sweden and the state of the Vatican.

We have main, the Oslo agreements signed on September 13, 1993, these were a series of agreements signed and established between the Israeli government and OLP, an organization for the release of Palestine, in order to offer a solution to the Israeli Palestinian conflict,This agreement was complemented by the Oslo II agreement and O Taba Agreement, these agreements were signed by the OLP Minister Mahmoud Abbas, and Foreign Minister Shimon Pérez by Israel, and were signed in Oslo, Norway.
