Ethically working well with others in a forensic psychologist field
Forensic psychologists play an instrumental role in availing different information about the motivations and rationale for the adoption of specific tendencies by a given group of people. Execution of ethically compliant research or working with other professional calls for observance of specific principles that reflect morality and respect for the people under study as well as other psychologists. For the study population, just like in the article, it is critical to consider the issue of informed consent by the respondents. According to Shaver (303), an informed consent confers legitimacy to the process of data collection, especially when working with sex workers. Through the consent, the respondents affirm that they are conversant with the different aspects of the study, especially its purpose. As such, an informed consent ensures that the data from the respondents is not collected against their will, which reflects upholding of the respect for autonomy principle.
The second issue to consider in the course of working with sex workers is privacy and confidentiality (Sinha 2). The nature of work by the respondents in such cases predisposes them to stigmatization as a result of the views, values, and perspectives of the society towards the profession. Sex workers prefer their personal information to be kept private and confidential to avert instances where the information leak to the public, which may subject them to immense psychological torture.

As a forensic psychologist, I take it upon myself to safeguard the information collected from the fieldwork to limit the possibility of the data being matched to specific respondents. This is helpful in motivating the sex worker to open up and provide the respired information. Further, it fosters respect in the course of the engagement.
