Frankenstein
Looking at the images of the inanimate, living creature that is Frankenstein, a lot of them are exciting and carry a lot of information that is wildly reminiscent of general happenings in society. Mary Shelly says about William that he was quite proud of his creation Frankenstein, which had taken him approximately two years to animate. Some pictures accurately paint themes in society such as love, determination, betrayal, and correction. On the contrary, others do not seem to carry any vital message apart from the fact that they are just impressive to behold. Two of Frankenstein’s images that interested me are described below.

This image shows a man who is in a black jacket. His left eye and the mouth have major surgeries, he looks disturbed and probably something terrible could have happened to him. The image well captures Shelly’s statement that; “His yellow skin scarcely covered the work of muscles and arteries beneath.” (Moreno 17) This is because, from the image, scars are visible and apparently portraying arteries beneath his skin. The image depicts some themes that are always seen in the society which include correction, revenge, love, and sickness. It is a representative of people who see something, hear it and keep transmitting the information without maintaining the secrets attached to it. As a mechanism of correction, their mouths and eyes are dismantled. With this, they are meant to know that keeping secrets is key to life (Rosenthal et al. 214). Furthermore, it could be as a result of a disease that could have befallen the man, and the only way out was to do the surgery.

Wait! Frankenstein 2 paper is just an example!

However, this could have happened only under normal circumstances, for example, in the event of an accident. The act of correcting someone through surgical operations appears of the mouth due to too much talk and the eye due to overseeing things seems interesting to me.

This second image shows two people who are holding one another. The manner in which the holding is done is quite impressive as one man seems to be at the mercy of the other, whose rugged face shows no emotions. Is Frankenstein strangling his companion, or is their attention arrested by something completely unrelated? Are they from a dangerous fight? A rescue from justice? These are the exciting questions arising from the image. Looking at the injured face of Williams monster indicates that he was engaged in a fight, the substantial surgical marks on his face occasionally happens after a battle. His countenance is blank and emotionless, vividly capturing Shelly’s description of him. The second man in the picture seems terrified.

It is barbaric to take away someone’s life. This Frankenstein image shows two men dressed in black; one appears a bit official while the other is so scary, actually a resemblance to those seen in Hollywood Horror movies. It is an indication of how thugs engage those in working classes in weirds ours. The scaring man holds the neck of the well-dressed. Ideally, he needs something from the man. Money or something of value. Moreover, the image represents the occurrence of some vices in the society which are not well cared. Where people are free to kill those opposed to them. It often is seen in political classes where people are competing for one another. Taking away the life of one does not interest me at all.
In conclusion, what encourages me is something that brings unity in the society, that which preaches love, unity, and kindness. Like any person who stands by the above, I am against anything that affects the life of another person negatively. The animation of a corpse in the form of Frankenstein, to me, was tantamount to the creation of an uncontrollable monster as was evidenced by his turning against his maker William.
