Abstract
Human resource management has a comprehensive role in the management of the organizational resource. It is a department that handles the recruitment process and directing resources in an organization. The globalization concept has promoted complexity within a multinational organization. This paper thus focuses on the crucial role played by the human resource department. The most critical role analyses in this paper are the selection, and recruitment process has the initial figure towards achieving a competitive work environment. This paper thus identifies vital steps in selecting an appropriate candidate for a particular job. They consist of determining the vacancy, develop the description of the position, forming the recruitment plan, and select the search committee to evaluate the applicants for the position. Finally, the human resource should conduct interviews and choose the best candidate fit for the job.

The management of resources within the organization has become complicated due to the impact of the globalization on organizations.

The practical steps in selection and recruitment consist of first by identifying the vacancy and committing to attract the best-talented candidate. Secondly, the resource manager has to evaluate the position and provide a vivid description of the job. Thirdly, the resource team should draft the recruitment plan. Fourth, the resource manager needs to select the search committee to evaluate the applicants for the position. Finally, the manager should conduct face-to-face interviews and identify the best-talented candidate for the work (Sheehan, De Cieri, Cooper & Brooks, 2014).
These are essential steps that need to be critically evaluated in the attracting talented personnel in the organization for the productive and competitive work environment. Additionally, the recruitment team needs to partner with other stakeholders to assist in identifying a wide range of applicants with broad skills to offer in an organization. As a summary, recruitment and selection are said to be the most important prospect of creating a competitive work environment (Sheehan, De Cieri, Cooper & Brooks, 2014). Therefore, the human resource management department in an organization plays an essential role in justifying a productive work environment through identifying the best candidates for work.
