Teamwork analysis evidence by the characters

In the film an autocratic leadership by Miranda Priestly was evidenced, since she says and decides when things are done and how, regardless of the opinion of others. The only thing that is valid is his opinion and does not care if with her attitude she hurts her assistants, she demands perfection at all times.

Teamwork analysis evidence by the characters:

Runway has a weak organizational culture, since the company members do not feel convinced that the values pursued are correct, since the control system is bureaucratic and imposed by Miranda Priestly. This culture is given by the authoritarian and closed address of the company.

  • Commitment: Commitment is evidenced in Runway’s company workers to meet Miranda Priestly’s demands. A clear example where it is evidence.
  • Trust: In one of the scenes, Emily tells Andrea that only the person who most trusts Miranda can take the book where he makes his annotations about the designs of the dresses to his house. There comes a time when Miranda comes to trust Andrea and orders her to perform that action.

conclusion

Andrea Sachs’s goal is to work for a year as a Miranda assistant to obtain good recommendations when he decides to change work to an editorial in which he can be a writer. At first, Andrea shows her rejection of Runway’s lifestyle, because she is not interested in the fashion they try to implement their workers.

However, after the film she becomes part of this style guided by fashion assistant Nigel and Miranda Priestly with her constant rejections of her way of dressing. Andrea begins to have problems in her personal and sentimental life due to the demands of her work, which takes most of her time. The outcome of the film occurs when Emily suffers an accident and Andrea tells him Miranda’s decision, which consisted of bringing Paris to her in replacement for Emily.
