My reason for joining California University
I am a single parent who has three beautiful children, with a strong adoration for providing health care to patients. The motivation behind this virtue was further heightened when my first-born daughter was diagnosed with the Down syndrome. This made me the primary caregiver and with sheer determination and love, I have managed to make her lead a normal life despite her condition. Although the time I spent taking care of her special needs made me shelve my studies, the experience served as an example of courage and strength. For this reason, joining California University for a doctoral program will provide me with an exceptional opportunity to hone my skills as a health care provider. The high-tech teaching equipment and the close interaction with faculty members with extensive academic experience will provide me with a strong learning foundation.
It is apparent that the existing partnership between the University and leading organizations in the field of medicine is proof of its excellence in this discipline. Aside from the university being the pacesetter in health and exercise science worldwide, the training offered in practical research will give me the knowledge to understand and tackle the growing societal health problems. Even though my daughter’s condition is an isolated medical case, the professional range of the health programs at California University will give me the confidence to handle patients with varying medical conditions.
