Globalization in the 21st and the 20th century
The concept of globalization refers to the process through which companies and organizations grow and diversify their operations to the international market. For this reason, it increases the interaction among the different cultures that exist across the globe (Mina, “How Does 21St Century Globalization Differ From 20Th Century Globalization?”). Following the evolution of globalization between the 20th and the 21st century, some arguments have risen concerning their relationships. The 20th century relates to the period from 1901 to 2000 while the 21st century refers to the period between 2001 through 2100. Therefore, the paper aims at discussing the critical aspect that differentiates the 20th and the 21st century’s globalization.
Ideally, the globalization in the 21st century is characterized by the rapid growth in the technological innovation. As a result, there is automation of operations, wireless connections, internet, smartphones, and computers. It does not mean that the 20th century lacked the technological development aspect but instead formed the framework upon which the globalization in the 21st century continued to grow (Mina, “How Does 21St Century Globalization Differ From 20Th Century Globalization?”). The rapid growth in globalization was as a result of the World War I and II due to the interconnection and interaction of cultural societies without boundaries.

Wait! Globalization in the 21st and the 20th Century paper is just an example!

It thus formed the basis of the 21st-century globalization and neo-liberalism.
While the 20th-century globalization was characterized by the post-war strategies and trade uncertainty due to the battles and conflicts, the 21st-century globalization was occupied by innovation leading to the development of new emerging industrialized countries. Besides the new developing countries form a significant element in the global economy currently. The interaction of people and business is as a result of the change in the geographical set up of the individuals. Usually, people may travel due to various reasons including tourism, education, natural calamities, trade or wars. The central aspect that differentiates the 20th and the 21st globalization is the driving that motivated people to travel.
In the 20th century, there was an unpredictable economic and political situation due to the wars. It thus created fear and limited traveling and interaction of various cultural societies and nations. Nevertheless, the economic situation lacked the digital development and enhancement of technology (Mina, “How Does 21St Century Globalization Differ from 20Th Century Globalization?”). Consequently, it was not easy for the individuals to interact and exchange their knowledge and ideas. Globalization in the 21st century developed as a result of the integration of the political and economic reforms designed in the 20th century. For this reason, it is shown that the activities in the 20th century played a vital role in creating an outline of the development in the 21st century. Besides, the 21st century enhances more intercultural events leading to the increased interaction and international engagement.
Although the 20th-century globalization posed some challenges including the economic, social and political aspects, it formed the framework of the 21st-century development. Most of the countries in the Middle East such as China and Russia became more industrialized and globalized in the 21s t century more than in the 20th century. Currently, China plays a powerful economic role globally in the 21st century as compared to the 20th Century (Mina, “How Does 21St Century Globalization Differ From 20Th Century Globalization?”).
In conclusion, the technological innovation in the 21st century has enhanced the communication among various nations. The emergence of the media and social networking platforms are essential to efficient and faster exchange of ideas across the globe. Therefore, there is increased connection and integration of societies in the 21st century as compared to the 20th century. The continuous development of innovation and technology has triggered massive cultural exchange. Consequently, most businesses and nations are more industrialized and globalized in the 21st century then they were in the 20th century.
