Topic 1
When I suffer chronic diseases leading to illness, I will often experience changes in self-concept and the overall quality of life. Changes are often noted in self-awareness and self-acceptance increase, where being a patient I become aware of the factors that trigger the disease. My reaction will include been in a position to accept individual needs such as the need to rest (Hash, Bodnar-Deren, Leventhal & Leventhal, 2018). Self-confidence also increases and I will probably experience the urge to have new partners with whom we share same interests. Self-responsibility will increase, and that implies my quality of life will improve since I will start taking exercises and improved diet.
Topic 2
After discovering that I have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, in the first instance, I must develop negative feelings such as fear and sadness. I think I can also react positively to the situation by preparing for death by putting personal issues and affairs in the order they are required. I can have time with my family to develop on a few matters before my time of death (Perrewe, Meurs & Rossi, 2016). It is worse to die in an accident than from a chronic disease, and I believe the life-threatening illness will give me time to organize and change the life of a few I will leave behind. While still living some parts of my life I must ensure I do something to be remembered with after my death and that’s when I will have time to develop on my reputation.

Topic 3
I believe changes in educational research and practice will have to be implemented effectively. Health psychologists must ensure that they become vigilant towards behavioural genetics. Behavioural genetics creates an individual difference that impacts significantly on clinical outcomes. Therefore I believe that while the area develops, health psychologists will have to develop technologies necessary in the assessment of patient health and the delivery of psychological experiences. There is a need to find studies that examine the impact of health psychology to patient populations and practising clinicians who will then implement strategic interventions (Chambers, Hutchison, Clutton & Dunn, 2014). From the challenges in technological research and improper studies on clinical interventions, the future health psychology must incorporate clinical technology and advanced research to find a remedy for chronic health diseases.
