Obesity is becoming a significant threat today due to various factors which include people lifestyle and advancement in technology. Despite the numerous health campaign and education still, people ignore the clear signs of living a healthy life. Therefore, to reduce cases of obesity and boost healthy living compulsory regulations in exercise and living an active life. This will involve introducing active breaks at work offices, mandatory physical education in schools and change in reliance on technology. People need to avoid stress as it leads to poor health and hypertension. Hence, avoiding stress and engaging in regular exercise can help improve one’s health.
Considering the case of Jennifer, her heart attack may have been as a result of stress which results in hypertension. The doctor’s advice was enough for Jennifer as she is in control of her life and health. Jennifer ideal weight does not raise any alarm as an obese individual, and this does not warrant a thorough medical check. However, given her working condition it would be appropriate for the doctor to investigate and conduct further check-ups. Jennifer can be affected by coronary heart disease or develop the cardiovascular disease based on her condition. In rare cases, doctors underexamined their patient and being a victim, I have always felt dissatisfied and opted for a second doctor’s visit to be certain of my medical condition. A proper medical check-up is vital in avoiding complication and create therapeutic comfort among the patient (Donatelle 1).
