Manual Healing Method
The study of manual healing method is about medical practices that used in the olden days, and which are still used nowadays, for responding to health emergencies. Examples of manual healing methods include practices such as massages to relieve pain and taking the pulse with the fingertips. With the manual healing method, the hands are the most commonly used tool for diagnostics (Rubik, 2018). The purpose of the study is to explain the advantages of the manual healing method. The research got done through an interview session with field chiropractors.
The research got done by students, academics, practitioners, and researchers from chiropractic institutions. The sample size was the population of people in the United States who usually see the practitioners. Their population amount to about 12 percent of the entire US population. Some of the interventions done during the study were the establishment of the standards done by a group of Chiropractors called the Mercy Conference Guidelines (Rubik, 2018).
From the results of the study, the findings were that recently, doctors and physicians are moving away from using their hands in diagnosing their patients. Most of them prefer the use of gadgets in achieving this. The findings were significant in evaluating the pros and cons of the manual healing method, which mainly focuses on the use of hands. Some of the additional questions that I may you have are what are some of the factors that hinder the practice of the manual healing method and the alternatives that physicians have put in place for the use of hands in diagnostics of their patients.
