We then understand this family concept, that society tries to maintain a somewhat religious conservative position in terms of the importance of the concept of family, which does not accommodate different options that would be more regulations than given its conviction would seek to change thecontext that society considers until today.

There are many countries that have adopted equal marriage as part of society, the question is why in Colombia it has not been possible to accept equal marriage in society?, The reason is that in Colombian society the traditionalist thought of a mostly Catholic country is entrenched, in addition to the lack of tolerance of a society that refuses to accept the new subjects that are present, this rejection and indifference have been foundations forthat even with advances in law issues, equal marriage is not to be accepted.

In conclusion, the Court’s decision in Judgment C-683 of 2015. It has broken paradigms within society in the search to protect the rights of children, such as a family, the Court in its pronouncement clarifies that it does not see viable away from adoption processes to same -sex couples as long asThis complies with the adjustments for this process in such a way that it provides minors in abandonment an environment of respect, love, well -being and socio -economic stability. To finish the Court, it has decided to approve the homoparental adoption arguing that it does not affect the integral development of minors.
