This leads to a rise in crime as most of the citizens would attempt to venture into illegal businesses (Blau and Christopher 78). With rising crime rates, the country realizes poor socioeconomic trends.
Excessive immigration to the United States also leads to increasing poverty levels. Due to low income among families, most of the citizens live below the poverty line. The population rises higher than the available resources can fully cater for. Poverty also comes from the fact that unemployment rates rise constantly.
