Internet is a system of networks of computers that are interconnected globally and links to billions of devices universally. Internet has a wide collection of information resources and amenities. In this new era of technologies, internet has become of a necessity to me as it is to other many people in the world.
Impacts of Internet on humanity
The internet enables citizens to congregate, communicate and socially exchange information. Internet is continually changing the lives of people around the globe positively and also negatively. Many claim that negative influence of internet to the society is on the rise decaying the morals of communities and crimes. However, it has been a tool for opening many new opportunities for many people thereby improving and changing their lives.
In the field of education, the introduction of internet has made learning to be very engaging, interesting and more so exciting. Many teachers and students are surfing the web for research topics for papers. Information relevant to their training is accessible via the internet.
Internet has introduced a new way of conducting business such as banking, shopping and easier communication with the different client in the world. This has led to the creation of revenue amounting to millions of dollars for small and corporate businesses.

Internet impacts on my life
Internet has enormously changed my life positively without any doubt whatsoever. All the information that I am in need of I can easily get it from the internet. Internet is a vital tool for researching and finding for any kind of information that I am willing to. Previously I was used to sending information to my friends via letters but nowadays I can send information within a click of a second and get immediate feedback from the same. Furthermore, it’s cheaper to use internet as a means of communication than contacting a particular personnel through phoning. For instance, calling a friend in Australia is more costly than chatting with the persona. In the recent times, E-mail has phased out the use of letters as means of conveying message. I don’t have to spend more on stamps and wait for days as the message is being delivered. Easy access to information from the internet has been an amusing fact to me.
As a scholar, online dictionaries and reference books has minimized and saved my energy as I travel to bookshop or library in search of the same. Most of the information on the internet is usually renewed and updated. Some of the information on the web are new and unique in which it can’t be found in any book. Online courses are also available. One can easily undergo training in a particular field via internet and at the end; the person is awarded a completion cert which is recognized worldwide.
In conclusion, internet is a databank where a lot of information can be found, and a lot of services are offered even for free at times. It’s a necessity to me as it has made my life and many other lives easier and improved our living standards. It is extremely important to me as a student.
