Nutrition Coach
To be a nutritionist, I have to be awarded a certificate by a private institution which might not require my academic schooling in nutrition. Although if I want to be registered dietitian, I have to be accredited by the academy of nutrition and dietetics. This requires me to have a Bachelor’s degree.
I plan to use my nutrition coach certification to work in the sports dietetics field. With enough practices, I would be able to pass the examination in the sports dietetics since I am experienced in sports. My ability to pursue another medical specialty will enable me to be a diabetes educator in the sports dietetics and other fields including pediatric nutrition and renal nutrition.
As an active coach, my exercising and athletics ability make the sport and fitness programs the best available to me, in this field, I would be able to deal work with the athletes with my coaching strategies and knowledge of the athletic practices that will move the athletes to another level. I will also control their dietary habits to ensure they are fit and have the best feeding programs that enable them to exercise perfectly.
Since I like working with one to one team members as I develop safe and effective strength and endurance in training, I am not able to work with the pediatric population. With the pediatrics, I will not be able to perform the specific testing on the nutrition knowledge since it requires tougher standards that may not work for personal trainers.
