Human service major priority is to offer help and facilitate day to day living of individuals, groups, and families among other composites of society by solving problems affecting them. Proper analytics and use of appropriate approach methods in solving a human service problem assist in achieving the success of the project. It is hard to find a group setup or a community without a list of issues which they would want to get solved. However, it is not all such problems that get solved. Therefore, good choice of a problem amongst other issues is a critical subject which follows identification of problems nature, problem clarification, the decision to solve a particular problem, and problem analyzation.
Proper problem analysis and team collaboration in the problem-solving process offers great importance to the community and the involved team. Collaboration with other team members challenges members to think, pinpoint, and get clarity on their competencies, therefore, serving as a mirror to their weaknesses and strengths. With enhanced collaboration and an understanding of imperfections and strengths, team members work cohesively plugging each other’s gaps (Lewis 38). More so, partnering offers equal opportunity to every member to communicate their ideas and participate in the problem-solving process. Through collaboration, a team member learns from others and enables individuals to have a comprehensive perspective on a particular problem.

Proper problem analysis provides immense importance in achieving the overall project goal of solving a problem. Analysis enables the team to identify the cause and how the problem grew to the current situation. More so, it offers an opportunity to recognize main issues and other effects related to the problem at hand. Proper analysis is of great importance as it results in the establishment of long term solutions to a problem (Lewis 33). Failure to adequately and accurately analyze the problem only addresses problem effects and leaves out the cause. Such problem resolution lasts shortly after which the problem keeps reoccurring.
