Parent Essay
When I look back, I can be more than grateful for what I have today. I had no clue of how future would unfold. However, when I look at my daughter, Rayna, today, I feel accomplished.  Rayna has never seen her father since her second birthday. Nevertheless, Rayna has always surprised me since her childhood. She even continues to surprise me today. With little or no assistance from me, Rayna manages to achieve tremendously in both her academic and nonacademic engagements. When she was born; I used to believe, as a mother, that I would always have to encourage and motivate her to progress. Conversely, in her case, none of that was necessary as she was self-motivated.  As a child, Rayna used to be happy, confident, curious, creative, and conscious of the limitation that she had a single parent.
Growing up as a child, Rayna wondered why most children had two parents. However, as time went by, this feeling faded away. She finally understood the meaning of having a single parent.  I am glad that Rayna has always been a happy child. Her happiness is not dependent on her material possessions or lack thereof, but rather the focus on what life has to offer and what life can be shaped into. Rayna is dedicated, smart, and expressive. She is not afraid of accepting her failures. Instead, she takes each failure as a lesson to better her performance and status quo. She is always honest with herself and everyone around her. That is why she shares a great bond with her teachers, friends, and relatives.

Wait! Parent Essay paper is just an example!

Rayna has spent a lot of time in her school and aftercare in the last four years.  Her grandparents raised her until her 4th grade. However, when she began her 5th grade, Rayna moved permanently to the United States where her mother was working.  She has studied in different countries with diverse schooling systems. Certainly, this worried me, but little did I know that all would benefit her in the long run. Rayna has studied in India, Canada, and the United States, and she likes to share her stories with peers and teachers.  She has traveled alone a couple of times, and this helped her build her confidence and experience of the world.
Rayna is strong about her opinions and is never shy in expressing herself.  She takes responsibilities for her own mistakes and instead of lying and making excuses, she always owns up to them and learns to use them as her guides to improve.  For every task assigned, Rayna does not stop until she does her best.  Competition is one of Rayna’s key motivating factors. Every time she sees a student putting more effort than her, she pushes herself to work to her full potential.  She always wants to come first, and even if she fails, she gets the motivation to work harder.  To Rayna, a successful student is not the one who comes first but is the one who puts in the most effort.
Rayna has an admirable creative side as well. She likes putting sketches, singing, reading, and writing.  She has a burning desire to enhance her creative ability and improve. This character is, particularly, visible in her unending curiosity about new things. She always desires to know what feel she does not understand.  Moreover, Rayna possesses great listening skills, and this defines her learning-oriented personality. She is, similarly, sensitive to her peers and family members and loves to be around people. Rayna likes to be engaged in as many activities as possible as this helps her to improve her skills in diverse areas of engagement. Rayna has a hunch that she can use such skills to be independent in life.  It amazes me that at this young age, Rayna already understands that life is a ride. She is grateful for what she has and considers her mother as her role model.
