I believe effective teaching entails having a conducive environment that enables the student archive their learning objective. I believe effective teaching involves asking and answering questions. For active learning and education, we need proper equipment for study and a variety of learning models like peer-peer learning, e-learning, and mobile learning. And lastly, I believe student teacher relationship significantly affects students’ performance and understanding of the course content the students should be set free to interact with the teachers outside and inside the class (Moran, Harris, & Moran, 2011).
Predictor of a student’s success?
Student’s success is determined by the support from both teachers and parents. I believe that both financial and choice of school will significantly affect students success. Students need guidance; I think Closeness to God and full dedication to church is a predictor of success. It is only through God that students can excel well. Their resilience and determination determine Student’s final success.Coping with the demands of life will have a significant impact on student’s life and success.

I believe that developing of high emotional intelligence will affect a student’s success if a student has great self-awareness, self-management and a good social awareness they are more likely to graduate. Success is more than just having the skill to memorize and pass exams it is more of having soft skills and life skills. In today’s world, emotional intelligence is a factor that determines student’s success because today’s kids struggle with mental health issues than they did a few years ago. Last but not least Targeting clear goal is a determinant of student’s success. Whenever a student’s enters school with a clear vision of what they want to achieve this will engage and help them stay and finish well (Creger 2004).
Strategies to ensure students are learning?
The availability of a standard curriculum calendar that will keep the students on track is an important strategy to ensure students learning. Dedicated time for study at each study level will help achieve learning; I believe that having a definite time for activities like computer labs, library time and so on is a good strategy to ensure students learning. Collaboration between students and teachers is also critical in ensuring students learning; it is the obligation of every teacher to know students strengths and weakness at every grade. Students and teachers should plan together share resources and lesson plan, seek insight from one another to achieve success. I believe that the involvement of informed leadership will help archive success. The principal should know what is going on in the classrooms by attending and making regular visits to class this will assist in determining students who are at risk and need extra attention (Rooney, 2010).
The importance of learning theories?
I believe learning methods are an essential and integral part of learning, it is from the learning theories that teachers get to know the different ways of handling students and getting the content to teach. It is from the learning theories that teachers get to know how to analyze the content and make it easy to teach, analyze and make students absorb. Learning theories form the foundation of the learning procedure acts as the reference point (Widel, 1978).
Cultural diversity impacts on learning?
Cultural differences determine who we are and how we perceive things. Religion, language and background where one comes from will affect the way they see things and grasp new concepts in class. The difference in language makes communication difficult hence having an impact on the learning process. On the other hand, cultural diversity may also pose as a good platform to share the student’s differences and learn how to accept each other’s culture. Students will get to learn the different culture which is an advantage to their development. Group work is a very vital tool to use to help students bond and learn the new skills from each other (Moran, Harris, & Moran, 2011).
Cultural difference and teaching approach?
I believe that every teacher should formulate a way to integrate the cultural diversity of students in the educational plan. He should try and use a strategy that incorporates all the differences and not makes any students feel hurt or neglected due to his/her culture. The best strategy is the use of general terminologies like religion and not Christian or Muslim and encourages study groups that will help the students learn from each other and accept the differences (Moran, Harris, & Moran, 2011).
The importance of a lesson plan?
The lesson plan is a vital component of teaching and learning process, I believe that proper planning helps students reach their objectives more quickly, teachers who use lesson plans are more organized in their work as it helps keep track of their teaching. A lesson plan provides a framework for smooth and efficient education, and it gives a sense of direction about what is contained in the syllabus, a lesson plan gives the teacher more confident when delivering the experience due to prior preparation about the topic. Finally, a lesson plan is proof that the teacher has taken an effort towards teaching.
From the above information, I can conclude, effective teaching requires cooperation between parents, teachers and the students, an enabling environments and the urge to learn new things is also vital.
