Personal Statement
Throughout my education and personal life, I have always engaged in activities that sharpen my leadership skills and teamwork. Whereby, I have taken major responsibilities in decision-making and problem solving within my area of participation. As the youngest in a family of four sisters, I have molded and pursued my own path, which has been one of my biggest challenges. This has toughened me in making proper choices and decisions concerning my education and personal life. At an early age, I had discovered my passion for aquatic life, and this pushed me to study marine biology, which would help me fulfill endless question on the sea world. Therefore, receiving the scholarship will not only help me fulfill my dream of studying marine biology but overcome by financial burden.
I always take myself as a hardworking, self-disciplined and determined student and these attributes are a reflection of my academic achievements and personal life. I began training and taking active dance practice at a tender age and this molded my outward self-motivated attitude that has contributed to shaping my life in regards to decision making and taking responsibility. I adapt to my dancing with a positive and enthusiastic attitude, which helps me in developing a culture of hard work and progressive interaction with educational information. I have worn different dancing competition awards, which attribute to my determined and hardworking character that is equally reflected in my academic work.

Therefore, given a scholarship to study marine biology, I will continue with the same spirit to ensure success.
Furthermore, I believe it is through hard work that I can achieve my goals, and that is why I have dedicated most of my effort to ensuring I attain good grades and maintain high standard performance. All my effort and ability are an equal measure of my performance as they reflected my dedication and hard work.
