The notion that foreign policy and International Relations (IR) might be responsible for wiping out the human race in the next fifty years has become increasingly popular. The need to discern and understand IR is vital in the modern world characterized by thousands of nuclear weapons and devastating terrorist attacks (Engel, 2016). IR is a branch of Political Science that assesses not only the role of states but also global alliances, multinational companies, and NGOs. The discipline handles issues related to human rights, sovereignty, development, and ecology from the perspective of global affairs. Also, IR addresses domestic country policies and their impact on the occurrence of other nations (Engel, 2016). Studying IR at the postgraduate level has always been my dream. I believe that this subject will help me unravel the complicated and often hidden system of factors that affect the welfare of global countries.
I pursued my bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration at the China University of Geosciences, Beijing. Aside from attaining a GPA of 3.09 points, I reached a great deal of internship experience back while undertaking my undergraduate studies. I was attached to the Yunnan Baiyao company where I acquired various HR skills. My duties in this company entailed assisting the HR manager in recruitment duties and assisting staff members to handle reimbursement matters.

I also worked in the marketing department where I participated in marketing research, investigation, and collection of documents. My internship experience also extends to my services at the Everbright Securities. At this Yunnan-based company, I undertook marketing roles related to ensuring sufficient customer satisfaction and strengthening the security markets. During both internship experiences, I sharpened my communication skills due to my extensive contact with marketing and sales departments.
Apart from internship and academic, my experience entails research activities. I have engaged in two research activities that boosted my investigation skills significantly. In the first activity conducted on behalf of Nestle Coffee, my duties revolved around analyzing the company’s product in different departmental stores through observation. I helped the company gain sufficient knowledge regarding its competitors, market environment, brand, and product strategy. In the next research activity, I helped McDonald’s undertake consumer analysis before embarking on site selection. Socially, I volunteered at the 14th Peach Blossom Festival where I gained massive experience linked to organizing social events. Back at the University of Geosciences, I was an active member of the School Chorus. I learned a broad range of leadership skills being the leader of the group. Participation in various concerts, shows, and events improved my public speaking skills significantly.
Currently, I’m undertaking a Master’s degree in International Business at the University of Sydney. I want to advance my studies further by pursuing a Master’s degree in IR. I hope to join the Australian National University (ANU) as my preferred school for this course. I prefer this institution due to its high-quality academics especially in the field of IR. ANU boasts of being the best institution with top-notch offers in this subject throughout Australia. What is more, the institution has an Asia Pacific study center. Since I am of Asian origin, I believe that ANU will provide me with the most appropriate opportunity of getting to learn regional-related courses. Importantly, I want to join an institution that will allow me to advance my studies to the Ph.D. level. I believe that at ANU, I will be able to progress my studies in IR to Ph.D. level in the future.

I’ve already tried some writing services, and though some of them were not that bad, there always were some problems. I’m happy to find a company that really cares about its customers! I’ll surely get back with new orders.
