Slow Drivers
Nothing annoys people more than being stuck in traffic in the morning while everybody is rushing to get to work on time, all due to slow drivers. Driving slow can cause accidents because other people are driving behind you. Although most people think slow driving is being cautious of their safety, it can cause severe damage. Behaviors such as slowing down while merging lanes, texting while driving and people who don’t pay attention to lights are all pet peeves associated with slow drivers.
First, drivers who slow down while merging lanes are annoying (Shear comfort 1). Instead of driving ahead till the end of the road then joining at that moment, slow drivers prefer to slow down as they approach the merging lane thus causing vehicles to jam as they wait for them to merge. Also, some drivers may be driving slowly on a narrow road where there isn’t enough space for others to pass and more than four vehicles line behind them and they do not pull over to allow them to pass.
Secondly, texting while driving is not legally allowed but you will still find drivers checking their phones all the time (Shear comfort 1). That moment one gets distracted by their phones can cause a lot of damage. The driver can slow down without warning to those behind him and cause an accident.
Thirdly, people who don’t pay attention to traffic lights are a nuisance to fellow drivers (Shear comfort 1). Some drivers forget that others are waiting for them to move when the light changes to green.

Likewise, others think it’s time to get a break and may also start napping.
In conclusion, it is apparent that slow driving can cause severe damages to not only the slow drivers themselves but also to other drivers and passengers. If all drivers followed the restricted speed limit, no under speeding or over speeding, the world would be a better place. Similarly, the restrictions would help avoid the road accidents.
