Poverty and relationship with deaths reported because of malaria

During the course of my life, I have been able to realize the importance that each of the branches of biology has had at the historical level for the development and survival of the human being. From my academic and personal point of view, biology has always been one of my favorite subjects, although I have had several difficulties with different themes such as human anatomy and diseases, they have served me for personal growth and power the world in different ways. One of the branches of biology that I liked most is epidemiology. Therefore, for this research I wanted to generate a personal challenge, which can investigate an issue that caught my attention, which is why I chose the malaria issue.

Malaria or also known as malaria, it is a parasitic disease caused by Plasmodium parasite a unicellular organism, which is transmitted to humans through the bite of female mosquito,. This kind of mosquito is found in almost all regions of the world Africa, Asia, America, Europe and Oceania, usually in areas: tropical, temperate and deserted in the only place where you are not found is in extremely cold areas such as Antarctica,Around the world there are more than 400 species of anopheles, however, only 30 species are important vectors of this disease (Ecured, S.F.). The life cycle of the Anopheles mosquito meets four stages of development;Egg, larva, pupa and mosquito The first three stages are given in aquatic media such as puddles, lakes and stagnant waters among others, where females spawn an average an amount of 50 to 200 eggs which last between 2 or 3 days to becomeLarvae, the larvae have a mustache head which allows themThe third stage that is the pupa arrives, at this stage the larva is enroll suffering a coma state where it does metamorphosis for 3 days, where the mosquito is finally formed.

Wait! Poverty And Relationship With Deaths Reported Because Of Malaria paper is just an example!

Malaria is characterized by its main symptoms that are fever, chills, headache, nausea and vomiting, pain and muscle fatigue, there may also be other signs such as sweating, abdominal or chest pain and coughing and coughing. (May Clinic, 2019), malaria can be considered as a deadly disease, but medical treatments are performed as quickly as possible, since when mosquitoes deposit the parasites they travel to the liver, when they mature and produce a new form of parasite calledmerozoitos, which leave the liver and use red blood cells as a pedio to reproduce infecting them and generating the symptoms of malaria, but the necessary treatments are taken properly and quickly.

Today there are different medications to treat this disease one of the best known is chloroquine, which serves for prevention and combat against malaria. As mentioned above, the main cause of malaria is due to the bite of Anopheles mosquitoes, but this can be seen related by different factors that are related to the deaths reported by malaria, such as: region, temperature, genetic, among othersThings, however, one of the possible causes that most caught my attention, is a possible relationship between deaths caused by malaria with poverty, mainly in developing countries.

In most developing countries, the inhabitants do not have sufficient economic resources to live, the lack of these resources generate "poverty", poverty today is one of the main problems worldwide, due to povertyPeople have the basic resources to obtain a good state of health, returning to the population more likely to contract lethal diseases, in addition to not being able to acquire the appropriate medical treatments to treat diseases, developing countries are those thatThey suffer a higher percentage of deaths from malaria. Poverty conditions generate adequate environments such as pollution and stagnant waters, making this a perfect environment for these mosquitoes to reproduce and grow.

To measure poverty indices there are a wide variety of economic indicators. One of the most used today is GDP per capita (per capita income), it is an economic indicator which is used to determine production of goods and services, of acountry or region in a certain period of time, in addition this indicator helps to create a general balance of how a person’s living conditions are according to the material and economic goods produced by the country in a certain period of time. To calculate this indicator, different formulas can be used, but the most common to determine the GDP of a country is: Gross Domestic Product /Population. It is important to keep in mind that countries with the highest percentage of GDP are not always the richest, since the population number must be taken into account, which varies for each country, according to studies the countries that have a betterGDP index are those that are in development and contain a stable or low population number.
