In life, everyone yearns for success, but our preparedness and willing to prosper determines our level of accomplishment. Although humans can speculate and forecast, no one can precisely tell what will happen tomorrow or the next immediate moment. However, humans can always prepare to handle anything that may ensue regardless of its implications. Success does not come easy but requires sacrifice, hard work, discipline, and consistency (Mackay, 2015). The desire to win is very pressing and enticing, but the will for preparedness is attainable. It only needs one to follow a systematic organization and abide by the right concepts at all times.
It is very ironic that very many people desire to emerge successful and triumphant in life yet they are not willing to dedicate their time and prepare for what awaits them. Another group of people will start on a high note but will withdraw following disillusionment and loss of hope (Michaelson, Olim, & Hyams, 2003). Little do they know that preparedness is procedural and takes time. It will be unrealistic to expect success with the first trial in each activity and task that one undertakes. Even the world’s greatest performers attribute their success to progressive preparedness.
The chances of succeeding when one is unprepared are very low. One of US founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin, once said that failure to prepare means that you are preparing to fail. Preparation gives humans a sense of direction and focus.
Wait! PREPAREDNESS IS A STEP TO SUCCESS paper is just an example!
The path to success may be extended and engraved in challenging encounters, but the level of preparedness dictates the outcome (Ewing-Cooper, & Parker, 2013). In fact, preparation and planning are the most critical stages of any successful encounter. Preparedness provides an opportunity to review the weaknesses which one is bound to encounter along the path of success.
There is nothing prodigious like identifying a hurdle in life and devising a mechanism for handling it. This gives assurance and motivates humans to keep soldering because they are guaranteed that they have made a step closer to success. The probability of success depends on the ability to resolve any weaknesses arising early enough. Preparedness also necessitates the tracking of the actual outcome. No one is denied the opportunity to prepare although the amount of time may differ from one person or activity to another. Some people will start preparing as early as they are notified that there is an oncoming task. The other group will procrastinate and start rushing during the last minutes. These two groups of persons also exist in real life where some will begin shaping their future early enough while others will be striving to accomplish their goals during the last moments (Sternberg, 1996).
In conclusion, we cannot overlook the fact that preparedness is a factor in success. No one knows about tomorrow, but we always hope for the best. This is where preparedness sets in and success is bound by what we do today and its implications on what will happen tomorrow. Preparedness is a long path that cannot be judged from the first trial. It takes time and requires determination and sacrifice to accomplish our goals (Lent, 2013). However, with the right prospects, it is possible to realize the set goals with ease. Life offers each an opportunity to prepare what should ensue tomorrow and the coming. However, the level of success is dictated by the extent of preparedness.
