Project Management Model
In the current business world, a vast majority of managers rely on the immeasurable selection of project management models. It is vital for a project manager to pick the right project management method for the job. Whitney and Daniels (326) postulate that over 80% of the tasks were unsuccessful because of the lack of establishing Project Management in a suitable manner. Every time, the results of a project are not similar to the prospects of the project makers, the project can be deemed as a “letdown”. This presentation will compare three different project models and offer a recommendation of the best one to use.
The waterfall is one of the most frequently used methodologies for expansion of a plan for the project. The waterfall technique is a chronological approach for realization of the project. The series of method gives the project manager the chance to finish each step before commencing a new stage (Mahadevan et al. 5). It is best used for construction and manufacturing projects because they are extremely structured. The second one is Critical Path Method. The crucial involvement of the process is connected to the illustration of the longest probable way for the conclusion of the project in a sequential way and establishes the shortest feasible time of a project method (Şandru and Olaru 440). It works well with small or mid-sized projects since large projects may present a challenge when it comes to putting all the required data into diagrams without the use of the software.

Critical chain project management (CCPM) is different from CPM because it lays emphasis on the utilization of resources in a project rather than project activities. To tackle impending problems with resources, buffers are created to guarantee projects are timely and safe. Due to its popularity with highly competitive industries, this model comes much recommended since it can work with all types of business. Additionally, it contains buffers that guarantee that projects are not late and safety is not compromised.
