Black Doll v White Doll
The African-American children in the short video clip show the sense of innocence of one as he or she is growing up without showing any signs of racism or discrimination or better still giving much sense regarding such matters. As statics show from the previous research of the Clarks, the more significant part of the children chose the white doll for its better features. However, the years passed and the experiment repeated shows that children have become self-conscious and aware of their color. Most children identified themselves with the darker doll, shows that they do not fear to identify themselves as being darker. They would practically play with all the babies since they were similar except for the color, which to some of the children was not a distinguishing factor (Johnson, 2013). This fact of not identifying the doll in terms of color is what brought sense. What I did not like is why the research was done using an odd number.
Prejudice – what would you do? Racism and discrimination
In the clips, most of the passengers failed to stand up to the views of the driver and would instead choose to support the idea the drivers had. Attributing to the fact that, racism and discrimination loom in the minds of most of the citizens in the country. Prejudice and stereotyping are vices that stand significantly from the conversations that most of the passengers gave. The Asians, Latinos and the Arabs (Muslims) all seemed to be unwelcome from most of the passengers, as they preferred them not to live in the country (Johnson, 2013).

Wait! Psychological Experiments paper is just an example!

These aspects have made people not to think critically and identify an individual as himself or herself. What I liked is the fact that one of the passengers stood up to the driver to change his view regarding another race as he generalized and categorized them as bad people. Moreover, it was a woman opposing a total stranger. What I hate is the fact that some of the passengers failed to own up to their thoughts after being questioned later.
Discussion Questions
#2. Being a guard shows a broad responsibility given to instill corrective measure in the life of the prisoner. Am very sure I could have been a strict guard who would hold up to the rules and regulations provided to be a guard. Ensuring I do what is right for them and also what is right by law and even offer solace to those who show instances of changing for the better.
#4. Being in prison is an experience that those from there have displayed as a place that no one would want to remember. Life there seems to be tough, and I would not indeed endure the conditions especially the procedures to be followed, as one’s rights and freedom are unknown in prison. That alone serves as a reminder not to ever break the law.
#11. The prison in mind is not very different from that that is physical. Only that in the real jail, others force you to conform while in the brain, you push yourself. Prison in marriages seize to be happy marriages from the onset and leads to unhappiness and lowers the self-esteem of the lesser party. Being shy leads to exploitation of an individual as such a person is unable to express himself or herself.
#13. The experiments showed the extent at which people would obey orders given from others who had authority over them. Both tests put the lives of the participants in conditions that could harm them mentally or physically hence in my view it was not ethical. The prison systems are things that had already been established and gathering information directly from the prisoners, and the guards themselves would have been prudent.
