Bullard article offers a profound assessment of the issue of racism within and without our societies. He intertwines racism with environmental justice and especially as regards the low economic class of people and minority groups. In the assessment, he realizes that the major cause of racism is primarily color and individual or group perception of superiority. This happens in all places in the US ranging from the transportation sector, the public institutions, government offices, and is revealed in politics. The paper addresses the consequences of racism that ranges from a disproportionate share of the environmental resources, unequal economic growth, and segregation of given regions in wealth distribution and adverse policies meant to dominate the minority groups. One revelation made is the environmental and health risk burden that the low-income and minority groups in the US endure than their white counterparts.
Bullard is candid and subjective in suggesting alternative methods that can aid in countering racism. I agree with the method he suggested to end racism. The first is the formation of common policies regardless of the region or ethnic group. The second is making an equal social and environmental justice framework. This would enhance procedural, social and geographic equity among all citizens.

The other is eliminating economic blackmail, residential apartheid, radicalized land use and equal property ownership. This can only be realized if the societies pursue a common goal such as environmental conservation and collective economic growth rate. I agree with Bullard that a common global justice for all can only be achieved through the formation of state and global networks, communal and gender or racially unbiased institutions and adoption of digital cohesiveness promotions.

Mujahid’s article delves into the statistics of racism by region and its progression over the last hundred years. He asserts that regardless of the modernization of technology, science, and culture, tribalism, racism, and nationalism have been carried forward to the neocolonialism era. It is this transition in the past century that has seen the increased segregation and claimed over 62 million lives. He uses a statistical approach to assess racism around the world. According to the article, over 22 million people are refugees who have either been forced to flee their countries due to tribal wars or have ended up being internally displaced persons after racial fights. His perception of racism is the individual belief that some race is superior to another, a virus that only exists in mind but instigated through action.
I agree with Mujahid that racism has been a long-term challenge in many states and an issue that is carried on from one generation to the other. It is thus not limited to America only where the blacks have been segregated by the whites for a long time. It is evident that racism is a major cause of immigration and regional displacements. It should thus be viewed as a global matter. According to Mujahid, it causes poverty hence raising the cases of crime, low health care access upon displacement, and killings. This is apparent from the indicated number of refugees and the general knowledge of the life within the refugee camps. I concur with Mujahid that racism is only an attitude and anyone can choose to or not be a racist. This is the only way nations can be able to fight it and hence create a global cohesion.
